DO NOT BUY.
The new publisher has decided to rewrite CORE parts of the game's code so insanely incompetently that the entire game is now broken and essentially unplayable.
YOU CAN NO LONGER FINISH THE GAME. THE FINAL BOSS IS INVINCIBLE. THAT'S HOW BAD THE GAME IS NOW.
Acquire an older version of the game through other means if you want to experience RoR2. The new developers are incompetent beyond belief.

Random lag spikes make this game quite literally unplayable. Just buy Battlebit.

This is just such a great game. Fun gameplay, endearing characters, unique artstyle, fantastic OST... play it.

2024 Update: this game has been abandoned by its publisher, and the developer studio has been closed. This game is now dead. Do not buy. Buy KSP1 and install mods for a game much better than this ever had a chance to be.

A terribly disappointing release, *even* if you consider that it's releasing in Early Access (for $50. lmao.)

Horrible performance (~15FPS average with a 2070 Super), downgraded UX, incomparably less content than KSP1, wobblier crafts than KSP1 (really?), tons of bugs that are way too common and easy to hit even for EA, and did I mention it costs $50?

For now buying KSP1 and modding it is a WAY better deal.

KSP2 as of February 2023 is a glorified tech demo / alpha with better graphics than KSP1 and a very nice set of tutorials for first-timers.

Do not buy.

November update: game is still ridiculous. Next month we finally get science and reentry heat, let's see if it's at all a playable game then.

Fantastic game brought down by the VERY lackluster modding support compared to the other games. Really hoping they improve on it as the game matures.

As someone who can't use a mouse/keyboard anymore, I'm so, so glad that this is an incredibly good port. It's just excellent. Very happy that I can play this game again, 20 years later. And unlike when I was an internetless child, I might actually be able to beat it now. :^)

Broke the speed of sound on a battery powered RC plane.
Would recommend.
