I really want to like this game but I can't. I didn't find it fun. The graphics are amazing but it is overloaded with tedious tasks without a helpful UI to back it up. Silent Hunter 3 is a better game as of this review imo.
What really did it for me was having to scroll through the ship to find a tiny valve to replenish compressed air every time I did a dive. Kills the momentum I was getting from it.

This game is incredible for how simple it is. Reminds me of an old SNES game like Super Metroid. Get it and see for yourself.

Devs won't address fundamental balancing issues in ways that would make the game enjoyable. Instead, they make changes to spawn system that are unpopular and don't make the game more fun. No tools given to server admins to customize game play to their liking. Recently changed run speed (made it slower) to encourage players to work together with vehicles more, which doesn't happen because vehicles drive around all over the map doing whatever they want.

It's not Squad. Don't pretend it is Squad. If you like Squad and think this game will be World War 2 Squad, you will be let down. You will spawn over and over again as the US running into a Panther or MG42 which you cannot kill. And the entire team will do this over and over again until the round is over. It isn't fun.

It's been in Alpha for years and feels really clunky.

It's a fun 20 hour or so game. I got kinda bored with the game as the missions got harder to do. Neat concept. Worth getting.

It's good to go. You get to build an early human settlement. You get dogs. You get GOATS. People want your goats. You will need to kill them. Make your own STONEHENGE. Worship the sun. Worship the seasons. Respect nature. Harvest cereal. Eat cereal. Survive the winter. Make metal tools. BUILD A WALL. Make the wall 10 feet higher. 10/10 game.
