A ridculously deep game that can be greatly rewarding at times, and ridiculously frustrating at other times. Get ready for the steep learning curve if you're a new player. Community can be either volatile or mildly amusing at times. This game is definitely best played with a group of friends, and if not, can be a great way to make friends as well. Communication is a must in DoTA 2, even more so than any other game I've ever played.

Take the time to learn each of the heroes, watch videos on YouTube to get a grasp of the game, and follow the professional scene if you have the time; it'll make DoTA 2 a much more enjoyable experience. Last but not least, it's free; if you don't like it, you haven't lost much. I've spent way too many hours on this game, and I don't plan on stopping soon. GLHF.
