I'll be completely honest, I didn't expect to like this game nearly as much as I did. If you are expecting this to be a Payday 2 killer, don't kid yourself, this game is basically a cheesy Hollywood heist movie with some of the worst plot that you can come up with, but its so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane enough that it makes it pretty damn enjoyable. A good friend of mine gave me their humble bundle key for us to both play and we ended up enjoying it enough we convinced another friend of ours to pick it up as well.

My only complaint is that there seems to be a weird stuttering issue that occurs on steam deck/linux when I tried it, where after around 20-30 minutes of gameplay, the framerate sharply dips and shoots back up every few seconds, leaving it nigh unplayable. I don't see many people talking about it, but since it's verified on steam deck, I might as well mention it. Im on windows at the moment and dont experience this issue anymore, but if you are on Linux, keep it in mind if you thing about getting this game.

For the $8 I paid, I will say that it is currently *okay*. Definitely seems to be lacking some content but as it currently stands as a sandbox physics/gore toy, its alright. The developer(s) seem to be pretty active in pushing updates but the dev team seems to be either one person or just pretty small. For what it is, i think it's worth the $8 it currently costs, and I hope the dev(s) continue to bring more to the game.

Also would like to mention, currently the game seems quite well optimized despite being on Unreal Engine, I have an RTX 3070 and i7-11700k and I can easily run this at max settings with lumen enabled at well over 70 fps.

Genuinely don't know why this game isnt more popular, it's fun as hell honestly. I mostly play the co-op mode, but versus is also good too. Also works well on linux in my experience.

EA is a terrible company, can't believe they are mistakenly grouping in normal Linux users in with cheaters just because they can't be bothered to actually put in the work to make a functional anticheat.

The game has no ending. Im not gonna lie, i wasn't really playing for the story, just to have some fun with my friend, but there isnt an ending to this game. The ending is just a cutscene with no resolution. If you are going to include a story to your game, no matter how small or stupid it may be, you should at least have the decency to finish it. Other than that, its a decent game, a solid 6/10 on a gameplay front, but the story is a bare minimun 2/10, mostly due to the lack of any form of resolution or completion. Only get this game if you want to have some goofy fun with your friend, don't get it for the story.

within 2 hours, found a glitch/unexpected feature that basically allows me to purchase 100% of a company's available stock, drive up the price to more than 30x the original buying price, then sell it for the inflated price, and repeating the loop ad infinitum. I believe I have inadvertently created a dystopian future whereby every company ,except my company and 1 other company that I think is cool, have stock prices that are so abysmally low that you literally couldn't even give them away for free, only for some unknown entity to come out from thin air, buy all of the stock up, inflate it 50x over, and manage to sell it for that crazy ass price.

11/10 game, i know nothing about the stock market.

Surprisingly, even after incurring over $33.9 million worth of damage through means of traffic accidents, head on collisions with street lights, as well as having an average BAC level of 0.25 across 100 journeys, I still have retained my license. Thinking about making this my future career.
