O' fair and sweet day, the 18th day of February year of the Tiger. My first hat was awarded to me by the fair mistress Idling. On this wondrous day I received the camera beard, although many scorn this garment; it was like a treasure trove of warmth and accomplishment, for now I finally had something to differentiate me from the Irish; a camera covered in foreign hair.
