A cute little throwaway mobile-esque time killer that took me a little over an hour of playtime to unlock all the characters and environments. I intuitively obtained the donut achievement, not realizing there was an achievement for that... so I think it's fair to say that's a suitable beat condition for this title (donut% speedruns when?), though you can keep playing to strive for higher scores on the leaderboards if you want.

The price is right, especially when bought as part of the Cozy Games Pack bundle... there are significantly worse games that ask for significantly more money.

Excellent little concentrated clicker game that will be done and dusted in about 2 hours (give or take) rather than endlessly suck your life away like an unquenchable vampire.

The game seems very cool, but the single-button control scheme is like fingernails on a chalkboard for such a menu-heavy game. I'm all for accessibility, but I'm doubtful that this control scheme is making this game more approachable for anybody... and even if it was, options would be nice for anyone who can handle something as complicated as an NES controller.

Capcom adding DRM that can only serve to negatively impact paying customers should make us re-evaluate whether or not we should be paying customers. Plenty of other games out there worth our time and money.

What if Metal Gear, but instead of hiding inside boxes, you deliver them? Genius!

Slightly underwhelming due to a story that's cute in its cleverness but somewhat less impactful in an emotional or revelatory way compared to the first game, but still a solid effort that makes a number of substantial improvements over the original in terms of gameplay and production values. An enjoyable ride.

As someone who has always appreciated FromSoft's work with the Souls series but doesn't have the skill or perseverance to make much progress in those games (I did manage to beat Demon's Souls at least, by taking full advantage of an item duplication glitch), Elden Ring has been an absolute joy to play. The open world structure allows you to take the game's challenges at your own pace, and that really makes all the difference. You're never gonna hit a wall where progress is completely halted until you beat your head against the wall enough times, well at least for 50+ hours anyway... maybe once you finally start exhausting the game's content (which is a very tall order, I might add) and are only left with the hardest challenges remaining, you may finally hit a wall then... but by that point you almost certainly got your money's worth anyway.

Lastly, I can't resist taking this opportunity to shill Shin Megami Tensei V, which gameplay-wise is kinda like Elden Ring x Pokemon... large emphasis on exploration and difficult combat encounters, but turn-based and with monster collecting! It deserves more love and although it's not officially available on PC, where there's a will there's a way.
