Bought it 5 years ago, performance was terrible. 5 years later, with new hardware to match todays standards, still runs like trash. Moderators and devs will just tell you to clear your cache (LOL), been saying that since the game came out. Instead of optimizing their game, they decide to pad the game like crazy. Almost certainly part of the reason the game died and is still borderline dead (after their attempt at re-branding with another patch that just added stuff and fixed nothing). Even Squad with the PIP update runs better than this and isn't a slide show (outside of ADS with a scope of course, I mean what do you expect? PIP always runs like crap).

Long story short, don't bother with this if you want to play a 40 FPS experience seemingly no matter what hardware you have.

Just as fun as I remember the first and we have a bright future of content updates as well.

Look at how many hours I put into this game. LOOK!! That was when the game was actually playable, I haven't played for damn near a year and half... but the grind got worse and WORSE and WORSE as years progressed to the point where even if you PAY you have to grind hundreds of hours to get one tank in top tier. It's not fun anymore, it used to be possible to get to top tier pretty quick within a few months MANY YEARS AGO with or without premium and now GAIJIN has become so greedy that it's not possible unless you sink THOUSANDS of dollars into golden eagles to progress because premium time is pointless and F2P is dead.

The worse part?! The disgusting person in charge is defending this and even goes as far as to threaten the community with killing off the game because they can't get their way of being disgustingly greedy as if they don't earn tens of millions a year on. Don't bother playing, if they kill of the game then so be it. But if they change the game drastically and for the the better, then I'll revisit this review. Until then.

People may say that it's simply a "Overwatch" clone. I disagree, there is a lot more added on to it than people may see face value. I recommend giving it a try to see what I mean. By the way, it's a very well optimized game and looks good. Brought to you by the folks who made Smite and Tribes Ascend, by the way.

So this is my second review, after that horrible train wreck mod 6-9 were.

Neverwinter is back, and better than ever! They fixed most of the graphical optimization issues, so running the game is no problem. Servers can still be an issue at times, but it's clear that they've been working on that as well. Gameplay is the usual neverwinter, at end game running dungeons is enjoyable again. The level grind from 60-70 is still boring and a hassle, can't really do much about that though huh? Some aspects of end game really push towards paying since it can feel impossible at times. Though the game is completely free to play, since everything necessary is obtainable in game.

8.5/10 Would recommend now.
