Here is one of my favourite games I have played in the past 5 years. The sheer consistency of this game is honestly baffling coming from an indie studio, because this plays better than most triple AAA games. It has a solid concept: just mess with people, which is one of the most enjoyable things you can do in real life, but this game widens the barrier to entry, due to the fact the worst these humans can do is revert your progress, as opposed to beating the piss out of you.

Perhaps one of my favourite games I have had the pleasure of playing through in the past 4 years. Suzerain combines many aspects of games that I like to enjoy away from the competitive sphere. Suzerain is a game in which every single choice you make affects an intricate web of geopolitical moves, and one wrong move can send the entire house of cards crashing down. Both the base game and the downloadable "Rizia" content pack provide interesting ways to govern over your own country, from touching upon the precise delicacies of a very corrupt democracy akin to the Russian Federation or any of the other post-Soviet states, or the absolutism of a kingdom in a world not fit for those ideals anymore, a kingdom focused on the export of its natural resources not dissimilar to the Gulf states or the developing nations of Sub-Saharan Africa, while keeping balance between noble houses that feels torn from Italy during the Middle Ages.
As far as the decisions you make in this game, almost every single thing you choose will come back to bite you in the ass hours, or even days later depending on your playstyle, which if you don't take notes using the in-game notepad or a physical notepad, you may end up forgetting who bribed you to align a certain way- be it oligarchs or leaders of nations (oligarchs). I certainly have ended up doing this many-a-time, and then have to salvage the situation. Which only adds to the fun, as no leader is perfect, and it makes for a great challenge to come up with solutions on the fly, and can make your situation even worse if you are not careful.
At the time of writing, I have not finished the Rizian story, but going off of experience with the Sords, this playthrough is bound to be fun.

I did not realise that the controls were THIS strange. I remember seeing this ♥♥♥♥ a few years back and thinking, "Okay, this seems difficult, but not totally impossible; this was a misjudgment best and a fatal error at worst. I can tell that a lot of work went into this game and can appreciate it for that, but I simply cannot afford a new monitor and/or keyboard at the moment.

A very interactive and simple software to turn on for background noise while cleaning, gaming, reading, writing, or bullshitting with friends. Extremely customisable with good integration, overall, a 9/10 simulator. I just wish there was more to it, paradoxically.

Ever since I got this game on my DS, I've been playing it every day, and I recently found it here on steam. One of the best 3-in-a-row matching games I've played, the graphics are good, the music/sfx are awesome, and the modes are interesting enough to keep your attention, as well as trying to unlock the secret modes too.
