I've been streaming Rusty Lakes games with my friend, scored almost 100% in all of them, and we were SO THRILLED when we heard about this co-op. Finally got to test it out tonight, and could NOT be happier. We're definitely fans of the whole series. It's creepy and funny at the same time. I really enjoy seeing the familiar characters and features in every game, and appreciate the devs coming up with new puzzles and quirks. This is really fun, I recommended it whole-heartedly.

I'm certain that other people have said it better than I could. This is an AMAZING game. I did see a review that they "didn't want to play a cowboy simulator where you just ride around and prepare food, because I don't play to watch the scenery!", but to that comment I have to say; you've got the wrong game, then.
This isn't the GTA of wild west where you just shoot stuff up and drive around with a tank.
Most of the fans of this game (ones I've met, anyway) really aim to make their gameplay as realistic as possible, and that's how I like to play mine, too. So, yeah. It's kind of a horseback riding, hunting, cooking, petty thievery and robbery simulator set in the wild west.
I love the characters, they feel really MEATY, you know? Each has a backstory, each one is believable.
The only feud I have with this game is with some of the controls.
But honestly that's just me being clumsy.

Super easy to use and allows you to create nice, simple models with little effort.

I still have no idea what happened, but playing this at night with headphones on was definitely a 100x more horrifying than I expected of a pixel game. I have so many questions left... Recommended.

I love games like this. Best enjoyed slowly, simple, beautiful, flawless for what they're meant to be. Especially considering the year (and the kind of year) it was made, something about this game reaches a very special place in my soul, the desperation, sadness, numbness, resilience and just... Living your "new normal", everyday life at the same time.
Coexisting with things just as they have come to be.
Maybe it's not quite "at peace", but... Oddly peacefully nevertheless.
In games like the Cloud Climber, atmosphere is everything. And it's wonderfully done.
I'll remember this short visual story and the feelings it gave me for a long time. Will likely play it again just to admire the view.

I WAS SO. PROUD. OF HAVING FINALLY,, FOR *ONCE* IN MY LIFE, SUCCEEDED IN SNEAKING AND SNIPING *ALL* OF THE,, GOSH DANG DARN,, ENEMIES. FOR ONCE. IN MY LIFE. SO PROUD.

...Until I later realized that the real achievement was about sneaking *past* them without killing anybody at all.

No, seriously, I loved Metro. The story was interesting, the game worked quite well (had a couple of really annoying bugs though but I got around them with medium effort), the level of challenge I think was just right. I didn't get frustrated but it wasn't a walk in the park either. I got the bad ending and it made me feel genuinely bad. I want to play this again, but I can't remember why I haven't yet. Was it the save mechanism? There was something about the save mechanism that bugged the cr4p out of me? I wish I remembered, but that's how it goes with age.

Sometimes you need to go ride around on a horse.

Don't @ me, friends, I know you will see this.

I really wanted more of this. It was a simple horror story told with a point-and-click play style and a very satisfying, yet harrowing, ending. I really, really liked this game. It's one of the few games which's plot I still remember without looking it up.

I don't really get it. I understand that it's supposed to be one of those "minimal help, no guide" -type of games, but it's just confusing. I didn't even really know which genre I was playing. Having completed similar "no guide" games before and having enjoyed them, Klohat just felt disorienting and weird. At times it seemed like the game was instructing me to go certain way with bright arrows (figuratively), at times I had no idea what to do. I ended up watching a "Let's play" of the game, and I still stand behind my word, this game is all over the place too much to make it truly eerie. It just lacks something. Soul. It feels hollow in a way that doesn't haunt me, and for this genre, it's actually not good.
I can't recommend it.
But just because I personally did not find it to my taste, that doesn't mean you won't.

Well, the description of this game was on point - it's a dark/sad/weird/funny game. I still don't know exactly what to think about it, and the emotional confusion this game makes you feel is exactly why it's so good.
