Early Access Review
Monetization is fair, the gameplay is great, I would just honestly recommend people at least try it out.

Age of Empires 3 is the best Age of Empires entry in the franchise. It builds off the successes of 2 and does it's best to find a balance while adding new, interesting features. I originally got this on release, physical copy. My time played is sadly much, much less then I've actually played it.

If you want to play a Age of Empire game before 4 comes out, Play 3. Trust me.

It's a fun card game with a great 40k aesthetic. I can't really give it better props then that.

I was just looking for a quick, free game to play when I found this. I thought I'd check it out and see if it was worth a few minutes a day to play, when I was bored. What I found was a actually fun card-game that treats the franchises it's based on with respect/ Gonna be playing this for a bit, I think.

Explosions. Stealth Kills. Sam Fisher. Masks. Need I really say more? Payday 2 is an incredible improvement to an already succesful franchise. The class system is a great way to diversify playstyle between other players and repeated playthroughs solo. If you want a good first person shooter with a more interesting mechanic then just "Go here, shoot people, win" then this is the game for you.

Gunz 2 is a above-average sequel to a stellar game, Gunz The Duel. A lot of the mechanics are the same or have been polished and there have been some changes done to try and balance things out. There's a new co-op mode which is far superior to the "Quest" mode in the last game, which took hours of grinding and several minutes of research in a lobby to be worth your time.
Also I personally like the class system, it helps you know what to expect from each person you're facing.

Now onto the negatives. This feels like a beta. A closed beta, at that. There are a plethora of bugs, host errors, lag problems, and probably other things I havn't encountered. They aren't usually gamebreaking but there are some. The "store" to purchase outfits, weapons, etc is barebones. The original Gunz's store had, in a rough guess, 50-75 items, not including different gender items. when I first played it. This has two for each weapon and three outfits per character. It's also microtransaction heavy. It takes about 10-20 matches to afford the "cheap" weapon upgrades or outfits and ten times that for the other items, that have no benefit besides "I look nice". Everything else relies on "reward crates" from winning normal or ranked pvp matches to get ores or crystals to gamble for temporary items or the 1 in 200 chance of a permanent.

All that having been said, I enjoy this game. I think it's great for the state that it's in and I remind myself that while Gunz was a better game when it launched, it didn't have near as many features or game modes. It didn't have separate characters with entirely different animation and weapon sets. It didn't have co-operative multiplayer at all, that came years later. Give this game a chance and if you find issues with mechanics being a little off or a couple bugs...remember this. It's nowhere near a finished game. It won't be for years yet, if Maiet is still the company it was.

I highly recommend this game to anyone who wants to play a quick online game, either pve or pvp, that has a low entrance level but a steep learning curve later on. And we havn't even found the mechanic exploits yet like we did with the original yet that made the combat so much more. =P
