all around not all that good. the "puzzles" are the worst part. a lot of it relies on either luck or quick reflexes and the punishment is quick death. most of the puzzles arent even very hard, the challenge is fighting against bad design and the game engine.

A great, atmospheric game. Cat controls are surprisingly responsive and feel good.

Also, there's a dedicated meow button.

If you can figure out how to use this and withstand all the crashes, its quite a usable peice of animation software. Addon content is almost a necessity. Not great for professional use.

Probably one of the best games ever. Great visuals, great characters, great gameplay. Perpetual Testing Initiative gives this game an almost endless amount of replay value.

This ain't just Half-Life in the source engine. Heck, this is almost its own unique experience.

A really good and fun game, even after nearly two decades. It might not be in it's golden age anymore, but despite that the community still thrives.

The third time portal adds a LOT more depth to the gameplay of the original Portal. Puzzles are challenging without being too difficult. Story and visuals aren't much to write home about.

Probably one of the best game mods out there. Almost valve-quality production value. Test chambers aren't for the simple minded, though.

Did you want ENDLESS PLATFORMING FUN!?!?

Well then this is the game for you!

This is a great 2D platformer filled with devious traps and hazards such as LAZOR BEAMZ and sharp SPIKES that will make you die! Collect gems, find some yarn, get to the exit, unlock some prisoners, get a weapon/tool, repeat.
Completed the game already? Then go do it all over again on INSANE MODE where if you die, you’ll have to restart all the way back from the beginning!!!
You can also play with a friend in coop mode, where you do the stuff you did in non-coop mode except you need to use teamwork!
You think those levels weren’t good enough? Well then shut up and make your own using the in-game level editor, or visit the Steam Workshop and download some fantastic levels made by your fellow gamers (NOTICE: There are a lot of pretty bad ones there as well).

Trust me; you will never get bored with this game! (Well, up until the new game comes out by the same developer causing almost everyone to shift their attention to that and stop making custom levels for this one, but that won’t be for a while.)

I rate 10/10! I can’t really see any faults with this game! It was made to perfection!

This game is pretty darn good, and is a definite sequel (or prequel) to the first game, but this does have some of faults.

First of all, I think the music box mechanic wasn’t a good idea, as it reduces the monitor’s usage from a tool to keep track of what’s where to a big obscuring button to wind some music box. The box also winds down faster on later nights, making it sometimes impossible took keep it wound as the time it takes for the animatronics to leave the office and the vent openings becomes greater than the time it takes for the music box to wind down.

The Freddy Mask wasn’t a bad idea in my opinion, but the margin for error when using it is very thin (in the first game, you had quite a bit of time to react before something enters the office. In this, you have about a split-second to put on the mask before the game deems you were too slow).

Graphics-wise, this game doesn’t look bad, but for a 2014 game I’d expect something more. There are a lot of weird things involving light. All rooms viewed by the cameras seem to be lit by a dim, cool spotlight that seems to have no real source and the hanging lamp in your office lights everything EXECPT the vent openings and part of the hallway that it realistically should be lit. Although this doesn’t take away much from the gameplay, it would have made it more atmospheric if, for instance, rooms were lit by ambient light from windows and the office were lit by a small desk lamp.

Again, this game isn’t a bad game, but it could have been a lot better. I hope the next game both looks and feels better than this one. I hope to see possibly a new engine (Source 2.0?), better atmosphere, a more dynamic environment, and maybe a little voice acting wouldn’t hurt.
