Recently Gaijin has implemented an economy patch that makes the game painfully grindy and attempts to force people beyond just buying premium game time. Instead they are forcing them to purchase premium vehicles or silver lions with real money, otherwise you won't be able to afford anything you unlocked.

The game is completely bug ridden, game modes are lacking in a lot of different ways (Very repetitive). I tried to submit a game breaking bug (My anti air missiles don't fire the majority of the time, completely randomly if they will or wont!) on their forms today and they deleted my painstakingly written report without telling me what I did wrong and giving me an opportunity to fix it.

This game is by far one of my biggest mistakes of getting back into recently. It's really not in a good place.

Edit: Well well would you look at that. Two years and they do it again and much worse. They of course blame players saying we don't know whats good for ourselves and pretend they care about feedback after years of ignoring it.

Do yourself a favor skip this game. If it ever improves I'll update my comment but until then...

Edit2: Another year or two later. Game is still not in a great place that I can recommend. AIR RB is super stale, ground RB is a ♥♥♥♥ show at higher BRs. Economy still sucks and is super grindy.
