Firstly id like to say, i like this game... However , it has glaring problems that go further than bugs.

Story-
10/10
i think this game has an amazing story and is worth buying now to play even with the bugs etc

Gameplay-
the game play loop is very... stalker if you liked the last gamees you will like this but i wish it had some more depth to it , its 2025 you can still keep the franchises essence while having a bigger scope.

The game has a terrible weapon sandbox , it has 29 weapons not including reskined uniques (just buffed weapons that already exist)
most weapons are very inter changeable and forgetable due to balance and enemies(mutants) being absolute bullet sponges. Every enemy human you will meet will either have an AK74U or an HK416 , and in later game you will see the SPAS-12 or the Tavor , there are other weapons as i said but you never ever see them and are so simmilar in performance once you get one good weapon you may as just use that all game.

Enemies have aimbot and will track you though anything and stealth is almost never an option if you get caught out in the open you have zero chance meanwhile the enemies can run around with no impunity

Mutants are a different story , many of them have the same loops , big damage while locking you into an animation or swarming you with large numbers , both types are really tanky some big mutants will genuinely take 120-400 rounds...... this goes for almost all rifle/smg/pistol ammo types

Economy
the games eco is busted , costs and money and repairs are all out of wack , things are way to expensive for what they are and the money you do get for selling things is nothing.
this coupled with the small and low variation weapon sandbox basically keeps you on the same few guns until you find a better one and then you stick with this all game. of course you can play how you want but most weapons are useless compared to counterparts you can easily get.

medical items are strange also AI-1 medkits weight insanely high amounts in game forcing you to take very small amounts of medical items , drinks and other foodtuffs are needed to keep hunger and refresh stamina and this couples with ammo weight and any other things you might need , your carry space is so small this exacerbates your money problem sine you cant carry much to sell

Movement/Gunplay
movement and animations are good but flawed
Skif is an ex soldier and now Stalker , he cant even vault or climb fences.... this couples with stun locks from mutants and the spam nades human enemies give you , its just frustrating in many ways...

Reload and Jam clears are cool but they arnt persistent and in this stun filled world and you constantly needing to move , if you reload and seat your mag , then run and cut the reload, when you go to reload again you take out the mag again , its just based on an animation timing id like it to be persistent based on a timing when the mag is placed and the round is chambered , allowing a more realistic gun experience and a more fluid sandbox-

adding to this i wish mags were an item where you had to manage the ammo inside them and you couldnt just magically repack mags like call of duty...

Repair/Durability of Items-
This is a huge problem , guns and armour break so so so so fast , a brand new rifle will get you maybe 300 rounds out of it before you get consistent jams which take forever for you to clear , the animations on these take a long time to play forcing you to redo the whole animation if you get stunlocked or have to move.

theres so much more i could list that i thinks wrong with the game atm
if it really wasnt for the awesome story and atmosphere i really wouldve refunded this....

also the English Dub is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful... play in ukrainian, sadly the facial anims are rigged for english....

Have to Que for Solo, No Pausing in Solo.
No safe house.
Challenge based progression is terrible.
15 weapons not including the starter weapons.
5 Cosmetic Outfits not including the coloured reskins.
Trading hostages magically spawns health packs.... xd
Weapon stats are just useless bars....
Skill options are small and less effective than PD2
ADS and Hip Fire have completely different accuracy
Cutting glass/windows with mouse is slow and janky
Main menu is empty and has very little info, in PD2 you could see the whole quad and their stuff now its just you.
Weapon buying isnt locked to class , so when buying a weapon you cant tell if its a secondary or primary , you just have to guess.
You cannot sell weapons locking your limited number of weapon slots to trash you may no longer want

NO SOLO PLAY ... LEMME QUE FOR SOLO REAL QUICK :/

Game could be good in like 5 years worth of paid content drops like usual....
Direct downgrade in almost all ways to Payday 2.

First off this version of the game is the worst version in my opinion... BUT the game is still great.

i personally played it all in one go as i knew what i was doing already but if youre new it isnt that hard to do , the game isnt easy either tho , this game has a reputation for a reason and this version still upholds to the original and just because its different dont let it push you away from trying it!

Overall its a great horror game and this version does the other versions justice its great to play and the game isnt too long theres 10-30? hours of content in it thats if you wanna get everything. thats what i would estimate anyways. idk exactly

i would highly recommend this game to anyone who is looking to buy it.
