Long time PoE 1 player, but had grown tired of the formula for a number of years. I'm glad they've chosen a different direction for this game, so far. There were a lot of tedious systems that so far seem to have been removed or consolidated. Combat being much slower is welcome instead of zooming around a map like someone on 5 adderall tablets.

Going the more dark souls route wasn't immediately appealing to me simply because of how terrible I am at those games, but I am enjoying the experience. The game is hard now, very hard. At least for me, and maybe that'll change over time as I play, but be prepared for a challenge.

In it's current state I highly recommend it. It's only 30 bucks, and very worth it.

Interesting find. Went in to it not expecting much. Fun little MMO that is more like MMOs of the past... Runescape, Ragnarok Online that kind of thing. Not a massive amount to do right now, but what is there is enjoyable.

Good enough for me. P2W is annoying re inventory spaces, but game is decent.
