Alright to get things straight; this game is very hard to get into. I actually tried to refund it a day ago because the gameplay felt so boring and progress was almost non existant. It took me a while to understand that this game wasn't about those things at all. DayZ (at least in my short experience) should be treated more like a social platform and like on every other platform, there are idiots but also awesome characters. There is nothing more fun than finding a nice person out in the woods and tagging along with them for the next 2 hours, looting every place you come by on the way. Getting to know people and seeing them being torn appart by a pack of wolves gives you an insanely big reality check on how privileged we are. Sitting in our rooms, playing this insanely boring game for hours just to die in it and do it all over just because we don't have anything better to do.
