Doom Eternal stays true to the Doom 2016 "go berserk" formula and builds on it with depth. If its carnage and a solid audio experience you are looking for, this game is for you.

1. Good variety of races to play
2. Combines maps from Warhammer 1 with 2
3. Intricate items for individual heroes
4. Constant updates be it free or DLC
5. Developer support and balancing is frequent
6. Content time is huge be it due to turns and its restrictions (eg. Troop training)

1. Can get repetitive despite different campaign mechanics
2. Hard to snowball but when you reach that point, campaign becomes a lot easier
3. Base game and DLC can be expensive

If you enjoy strategy games like CIV, Hearts of Iron, any other Total War series etc, I would highly recommend this game. However, I would get the DLC on a sale. Always find myself going back to this game. Overall an extremely pleasant experience.
