Avid table top player of blood bowl and I have sank many hours into Blood Bowl 2 on PC and Xbox. That game while not perfect by any means actually plays. It has the teams and you can setup, play, manage leagues, tournaments etc.

Then we come to this. The beta was a year ago. It was flawed. It needed a lot of work. The game was delayed so that it could be polished and fixed for a full release. Here we are a year later. The game is beyond broken. Issues that were in the beta are still present, basic features (saving a match) are on a “roadmap” for additions. If you spend money on this game today February 2023 you are paying for at BEST an insider beta build that will have you screaming. Ai hangs up and won’t do anything forcing you to quit (this conceding the match). Multiple skills don’t function the way the rules are written and to be played. Team management is ok, it’s not amazing. Customization of teams will eat your credit card for 1 micro transaction at a time just so you can have a spiked helmet or different armour on a leg. League creation would be easier and more stable if you got a 2 year old a marker and let him draw on the wall. The game is broken and I use the term game VERY loosely. It’s a fancy half broken UI that sometimes let’s you see a ball and some blood. Cyanide studios fumbled the development on this and there’s a very slim chance they might recover 2 maybe 3 years down the road at the speed they work.

Save your money and go back to playing Hogwarts legacy.

Edit: Still trash, but better trash than it was at launch.

Simple idle game which actually makes you feel like you control a few things, its a refreshing take on the simple click and done. I even ended up downloading it on the ipad to play it more. Updates are becoming more and more impressive this game has lots to add.

I was never a big fan of the Civ games starting all the way back at Civ 1. I would play them for maybe 5hrs total before I just got bored and never wanted to touch them again. The last Civ game I personally played was Civ 3 about 8 years ago. I didnt like it at all. In fact I think spent more time unistalling the game then I did playing it.

Which brings me to Civ 5. My friends list collectively has over 2500hrs of play time so on the steam summer sale I figured I would pick it up for cheap. WOW this game has got me hooked with 24hrs of play time already I can see myself logging a lot of time on this game. I have been doing custom setups and just working on a play style for now but im already looking at getting the expansions. The game plays like the original which was easy for me to pick up on but at the same time it has a more modern feel to it. I find that even when I "win" on a map I always end up clicking on the "Just one more turn" option and spending even more time on the same map trying to take over.

If you like anything turn based I think you need to pick this up. If your not sure about it just look through your friends list to see how many hours they have logged and it should speak for itself :)
