Absolute gem of a game, solid 51 hours of gameplay and I would say that I rushed through the game somewhat. Very fun and engaging combat with a lot of variance in play styles. Very engaging story and for most of my playthru I really felt like I had agency over my character the story and felt like my actions had positive and negative impacts on the world.

Game did railroad a fair bit with chapter 2; but it was necessary for the story beat. I've heard they're thinking about lowering the brutality of the chapter in regards to a lot of negative feedback on that chapter specifically and they talked about wanting to expand on the story choices available but being unable to without blowing the story out of proportion. Personally I would love to see something along the lines of a DLC for half the price of the game that expands the game with a post-game set after the end of Drova; with a skip being available by changing the course of chapter 2. It would be a win-win with the community, allowing agency to the players; while being able to leave the consequences of the initial path as it is.

gud game, much fun

Nothing like some good leaf and going in solo with a katana and a dream.

I picked this game up as something to try and stave my boredom for a couple of hours, found it on EA Play which I already had so I figured "Eh, what the heck, doesn't really cost me anything to try..." played through the whole game and I was completely drawn in by the awesome storytelling. It's all pretty linear, but the combat is really fun, the game has the perfect level of wackiness to keep things interesting and a really compelling story.

Don't buy, It's dead and it's been abandoned by the dev.
