An incredible (hidden) gem. For me it's a combination of Minecraft and Factorio with an interesting atmosphere. Both the sound effects as well as the ambient sound (especially in certain parts of the game) are astounding and surprisingly immersive. The game also includes a grappling gun for easy movement around the map and honestly I've put in so many hours just jumping around the base grappling like a monkey :). When you play on the the more difficult settings progression really feels like progression. Once you go from a lower tier energy system to the next tier the increase in capabilities is so noticeable that when I go back to other games the progression feels lackluster.

Aside from the gameplay the support is also amazing. The community has produced a lot of QoL mods as well as new features. The game does have bugs from time to time (especially in multiplayer) but even when we encountered a bug it was fixed incredibly quickly (see https://steamproxy.net/app/254200/discussions/0/3185740024689050560/?ctp=2#c4142816945494022153), even in 2024 (almost 10 years after release!).

One of the better kart racing games. It surprised me how much fun it was, though you really do need to play online. Spells are fun to use and balanced as well. Maps have a lot of interesting parts such as shortcuts that you can only access with specific spells. What I'm missing the most is some kind of tournament/cup feature where you play some set of maps and top X players earn some amount of points each race.
