New balance changes made the game take hundreds of hours to get decent equipment. Shop UI is absolutely terrible, and casual players who just want to hop in get the worst experience of anyone.

An amazing combination of both good game design and well executed graphics, Secret of the Magic Crystals keeps me on the edge of my seat for the duration of my playtime. Don't be fooled by the early childhood rating, Secret of the Magic Crystals is serious business.

Unfinished and buggy. Buy when it's actually worth $30 or wait until it goes on sale. Indie game alphas do not justify this kind of price, especially when they don't even work until they get patched.

EDIT: Got patched and no longer has the problems it used to. Very fun gameplay.
