meery christmas friend !

A few hours back, i started to go mining and 5 hours later I have 19 diamonds, 6 stacks of coal, 3 stacks of iron, and a stack of gold. Then I decided to get out before I died and lost everything like when it's happened to me before. But while I was getting out I fell into lava and managed to pause the game with one heart left. :( How can I save myself? Please respond, thanks.
