I've read a fair deal of the negative reports, and I get it... This game is not for everyone. For me, however, this was just a beautiful story, and although not what one might expect for a video game ending, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I understood, I appreciated. Will certain people be let down? Absolutely. Is this a cliff hanger ending? Not at all. If you cannot connect, or relate, or understand the real life implications and situations, this will fall short. Adult themed, adult conversations, adult experiences.

Is $19.99 too much? Perhaps for some, however, after one playthrough(easily replayable, not sure how the dialouge changed what actually happens throughout yet, nonetheless though) and over four hours later, I look at that as money well spent. Four hours at the bar, at the movies, at dinner... What will that run? Four hours of enjoyment, for $20. I am okay with that, especially knowing I could get another four out of it.

Recommended? Absolutely. Is this a game anyone can pick up and thoroughly enjoy and love? Unfortunately no. Those that do love this, will always remember this game. The experiences. The relation to ones own personal demons and issues. I say well done, I say 10/10.

This is soley my personal opinion though... And if $20 is too much of an investment, you probably shouldn't be playing this game anyways.
