Raft + Subnautica
Its great

One of my favourite games, enjoyable and story-rich with unique combat with lots of customisation. However, I can't really recommend it to any new players. The way the story has been handled is kind of poor, newer players are just thrown in and have no idea whats going on. A lot of the mechanics are not poorly explained and lots of content requires you to watch up to an hour long tutorials.

By all means, if you're accustomed to the game and enjoy the looter-shooter genre, and you're willing to ride through the huge learning curve, go ahead. The game isn't bad, the graphics are great and the game runs (mostly) smoothly. The gameplay is kept entertaining through frequent updates. Nothing wrong with the game, I just can't really recommend it due to the nature of it.

While the quality (graphics, mechanics, etc) of this game is decent, it is pretty good considering it is in early-access. Playing in a group or as a pair is a load of fun, although I can see it getting repetitive.

The game has two distinct ways to play; The case mode allows you to do shorter (my buddy and I did a few small map easy difficulty cases in 30-40mins each) mini adventures in different maps with one of the randomly selected creatures. Each creature has different aspects (wont spoil it, more fun that way). I've done 4 of these, and have encountered 3 different creatures. All of these have been mazes with puzzles or challenges to complete. They are procedurally generated, meaning you'll likely see the same props and general flow of them over several cases. They generally consist of a maze, several safe zones with items to collect/destroy to open an exit. Don't get me wrong, they are great fun.

More unique use of props, different challenges/puzzles throughout the game made the Story/campaign mode a lot more immersive. It seemed like an upgraded version of the case system, except that they were designed and made by people and not computer generated. I would love to see these features in the case system in the future.

All in all, pretty good game so far. Very excited to see this game out of early-access, and it's definitely worth the money if you have a few friends to play it with.

Runs poorly on even high end cards. Badly optimised, very grindy, spend hours getting ♥♥♥♥ and then having it vanish... etc
Sucky game, still spend a lot of time playing it tho idk

Grab it, it's 7 bucks and I guarantee you will love it.
