Seeing mixed reviews and people's concerns about the seasonal reset after the release made my expectations rather low. However, after experiencing the seasonal reset on my own and playing the game for more than 200 hours, I can without a doubt say that this game is great, especially since it's free-to-play.

They promised non-pay-to-win and so far they kept their promise. Sure, you have paid skins and decorations in the game, but you can't expect them to make money out of thin air.

About the seasonal reset... it was my main concern, as I wasn't sure how much stuff I would keep for the next season, but now I don't see any problem with it at all. You keep all the blueprints and mods that you worked so hard for automatically and can start using them right away in the next season. Materials are moved to a special storage from where you can withdraw them with a special currency and use them again in the next season. This currency is limited, so you have to decide what you really want to bring with you, but that's not a problem, since you can grind most of the stuff back within a few days anyway.

As for gameplay, there's quite a few things you can do... build your own territory and vehicles, upgrade weapons, find deviations ("pets" that help you either in combat or your territory) and much more. There are silos, which are basically dungeons with monsters and bosses and also open world events called Prime Wars where up to 40 people can gather to kill monsters.

My only concern is the new scenarios, I'm not sure how they want to keep up with releasing new ones over the years, since they are supposed to include new maps, monsters and quests.

For now, I give the game solid 8/10 as it exceeded my expectations.

The game didn't have a good start due to the economy problems, but received a few patches since release and gotten better. It's still not perfect and earning money after completing all the clubs just gets worse, especially if you compare it to CarX Drift Racing Online, where money weren't a problem at all.

The main currency is still not the biggest problem though. Having an extra currency, that got ported in from the mobile version, and locking the best car parts behind it, is a really stupid idea. Especially when the game is paid and not a free-to-play model where you would spend real money to get this currency. In nearly 60 hours of playing, I only managed to max out 2 cars with Ultimate parts. I hope they eventually make earning this currency easier.

Otherwise the gameplay feels pretty solid. Graphics are nice, so is the whole map with unique places and car sounds are not bad either. Tuning is pretty much the same as in CarX Drift Racing Online plus some new features like engine and transmission swaps.

For now, I rate the game 7/10, but if they can keep the updates coming and make the economy just a bit better, it will be a solid game for the money.

Probably the best drifting game out there.

Good customization, cars and maps. More fun with friends.

The only downside are the car sounds that are mobile-like, but it shouldn't keep you away from trying out the game.

I expected a little bit more from the game, but it still delivered...

Story
The story begins with a short intro, which shows you how (and why) you became a lookout. After a long sleep, you wake up to your first day at work. Delilah, your supervisor, gives you a first task that isn't that interesting -- deal with a bunch of teens messing with stuff they shouldn't. Your first day ends with a little bit of a mystery, but let's not spoil the whole story. From this point, it just gets more and more mysterious and intriguing.

Gameplay
The map isn't that huge, but there are quite a few places you can discover besides the story. One of the main things in this game is manipulating with items. However, most of the collected items, that are not required to continue in the story, don't have any use, so what's the point of picking them up?

Graphics
The environment is absolutely relaxing, filled with pleasant colors and sounds of nature. If you are into making nice screenshots, this game will make it easy for you.

Soundtrack
The music is fantastic, but it doesn't play all the time and you can't turn on any background music. It only plays when something story-related occurs, which is a shame.

Conclusion
I wish the game had better ending and there was more stuff to do after completing the story, but I'm still going to give it solid 8/10.

Modern and pleasant graphics, very chill music and 100 levels to beat. Most of them are easy, some of them might make you struggle for a while. Overall, absolutely worth the price, especially when it's on a sale.

Early Access Review
This game has it all. Great cars and music, beautiful graphics, multiple mods to choose from, first-person, achievements, etc... It's hard to point out things that this game is lacking for such a low price. Simply said, if you want to enjoy some retro vibes, this is the one to go for.

Nice set of levels once again. This time with lasers crossing your way to the finish.

Also, if you want to buy this game just to make your profile look cooler with Achievement Showcase, this one's got one of the nicest achievement graphics I've seen so far.
