Compared to other games, this is very limited in where you can place buildings, which to me is quite a dealbreaker. Roads in this game is is a mini-game on its own, and the things in this game that is challenging, are things that are easy in other similar games. I don't like the restrictions of the layouts and buildings, which ultimately have me request a refund, and the very least uninstalled.

FULL REVIEW of someone who played the original Paragon in closed beta back in the days, Closed beta SMITE with thousands of hours, and League of legends for many years. I dont consider myself an expert, but I know the MOBA genre well, with some testings in my backpack.


TLDR: Press PLAY, now!

My first games and hours has impressed me a lot. I didn't know what to expect based on the negative reviews, but I sure did get surprised.

This game reminds me a lot of the original paragon, with many great features from other MMO's, such as emote/pings. Auto-purchase, auto-move to lane etc

The game mechanics allow games to be highly competitive, and are anything but one-sided. I won my recent game after 50 minutes, being 20 kills behind at one point. Teamwork is key, and it is very very likely to turn games, unlike other MOBA's where if you're 5 kills behind early, you might aswell surrender. This game allows so many oppertunities to turn the games around multiple times during a match, and I love that!

The game offers what's equivelant to Baron/Dragon (LoL) or Fire giant/Goldfury (Smite). They offer a great advantage, and one kill/steal grants you great rewards.

When you read the other reviews, I must agree to a certain extend, there is issues with the playerbase, and issues with hero-balancing (Which is an issue in any MOBA). But the difference here is, the developers listened. If you look up their dev notes, their roadmap, balancing and a more strict parenting of the community is on the roadmap and some already released in november.

The developers listen, the game is fun, and teamwork is key. This game will definitely get rid of the "5 kills behind = surredner pls pl0x"-mentality.

This game is in an arms race with another MOBA-game which I think is healthy and will keep the developers listening and on their toes. I'm glad they read the reviews.

I bought this game in support of the tiny dev team, who showed the gaming industry that you can beat major franchise-owners, with passion for your projects. This has showed us that Battlefield has absolutely no excuse to make such horrible games, so overpriced, when 3 people with lots of dedication and skill, can make a much better game, with much less economy and team.

The game is extremly fun, and is what you expect of Battlebit. It's battlefield with a lot of awesome features, such as vehicles, tanks, helicopters, classes etc. Most importantly the game is featured with most of the unique features we asked for in Battlefield: A very dynamic world, building small defensive positions, really well done communication and much much more.

What this game really struggles with is the medical gameplay. There happens to be this paradox where medics dont want to revive because people re-spawn instantly, and people dont want to wait out because medics dont show up to revive them... It's extremly bothering. You can die infront of 20 of your teammates and no one even attempts to revive you.

I would suggest this game and team to take note, and fix this with game mechanics - Perhaps you shouldnt be able to respawn right away, after you die? For me it's a huge issue, and often bothers me to the edge of leaving. I find it insane you can have 20 people standing ontop of you, without any help. With that said, in the right squad, with the right people, it's fine.

Overall a very good game, and would at any time recommend this over Battlefield. I think it's time for the gaming industry to realise they need to step up.

Having an absolute blast with this game.

Different classes, abillties, cosmetics. Combination of third and first person. Every operator is unique. A whole bunch of gamemodes that can satisfy everyone, with low que times. You never get tired of doing stuff!

The fundamentals are there - But it definitely lacks graphics and some sort of progression. There's basically one route, 2 trains (a few more models, but essentially the same) - And no real objectives or progression. It still feels a bit "clunky". I like the idea, I like the multiplayer, and the fact you can play as the controller - But it's not there yet. I'd probably visit in 2 years and recommend it. But for now, I'm just done recommending half-finished games, which has become the tendency in the industry.

As many other stated; There's no tutorial, the idea of the game is decent, but it feels like it lacks alot, specially a tutorial. Idea: Perfect, massive potential to be a SH killer - Not perfectly executed, sadly!

Super fun game. There is obviously some issues regarding purchaseable DLC's, but the game is free and there has to be a way for them to earn money to keep it running. I see no issues.

Played about 200 hours on the website.

The game is very fun - It's just like Hearts of Iron 4, but in multiplayer. It's real-time RTS, meaning every move you make can take up from 10 minutes to 25 hours. It's recommended to get this game on your phone too, so you can follow your matches multiple times a day.

This game contains quite deep game tactics which it by default does not teach you - So I recommend you check youtube for further tips and strategies.

It is true that its somewhat pay to win. Gold gets you very far in the game, such as building way faster than non-spenders, faster unit training etc. It should be mentioned that you can earn 2500 gold per day, so even as a non-spender, you do have a chance to spend and earn gold aswell.

Most comment states "You can't afford HoI4", but that game is 4$. The main difference is that this game is multiplayer, often up to 50 players per match. Longest match i've experienced is 30 days.

It's definitely a fun game, and its worth a try. However, it does require some commitment.

52 hours of gametime as this review is being written.
Some of the negative reviews are indeed true - Although this game is stated as an idle game, you are required to be quite active, which some do like - It's nice leaving the game, and still making progress, but you are definiately required to spend lots of time in-game. Some like that, some dont.

The game definiately lacks a tutorial, some things arent quite explained, and you need to get help from the other players (They are very helpfull). I like the multiplayer aspect of this game, lot's of chat and guild activities you can do, HOWEVER, with moderators making up their own rules, banning people for calling people names, just to do it themselves, is bad. Saw some dude saying racial slurs, national-socialistic opinions, and nothing happend - but another dude later disagreed about the moonlanding with a moderator, and got muted. LMAO

So, if you're looking for an ACTUAL idle-game, I'd say you should go for games like cookie clicker or clicker heroes.
If you're looking for the multiplayer aspect of it, you can get the same out of it, by playing e.g Shop titans, as it requires the same active level, and you won't be moderator-powercreeped.

Objectively the game is what you expect of it as an idle game with RPG elements - Progress, restart, progress with more gold, restart etc, and level up your heroes, just like any clicker game with RPG elements. However, what drew me to this game was the RPG and multiplayer features, which were more or less a dissapointment, and found other games that could do this way better.

The game is more or less between 2 genres, which can be a super fun and good thing, if executed well. Which this just isnt at the moment.
