Really solid idle game. I have been a longtime fan of idle games in general (since around 2012), but what Melvor Idle does is quite revolutionary for the genre. Most idle games have one, maybe two main numbers you just try to increase, but Melvor Idle has so much depth to it, but still lets you play it as casually or as hardcore as you want.

Melvor Idle takes what makes MMORPGs like RuneScape fun and neatly puts it into a singleplayer idle game experience. It also has an official wiki that is mostly generated directly from the game's code, which is a very cool way of doing it. I also would highly recommend checking out the official Discord server as people there are very willing to help you out with any questions you may have that aren't answered by the wiki.

Really, my only criticisms are that there are many little visual bugs that I had anticipated to be ironed out before the full release and that the way offline progress works for mastery XP is, for most skills, quite unintuitive and is not explained that it works the way it does and if you are unaware of it, you can miss out of a significant amount of mastery XP.

TL;DR
Melvor Idle is a unique idle game experience that I would highly recommend if you like idle games and skill leveling systems.

Such a wonderful and beautiful game with great music and satisfying gameplay. Difficult at times, but it never feels unfair.
