Still haven't reached the top, but I've enjoyed playing it so far. Difficult yet relaxing, Getting Over It is definitely worth a try.

I really can't understand the negative reviews, there's nothing inherently bad with the game. If you're a fan of Spelunky and or Risk of Rain, at first glance it seems to literally be just a mix of the best parts of each game, but it adds a to of really creative and entertaining options. There's tons of swords, bows, classes, magic and special items, types of enemies, customization, stage and strategy variety, and different bosses. I've only put a few hours in so far but I enjoy it thoroughly, as well as the arena mode which is a ton of fun as break from the main game, a training area, or mini co-op rounds.

If this sounds appealing to you, grab it at full price. If you're not 100% sure, it's definitely worth trying at ~$5 or so.

The art is good, the soundtrack is fine, the overall design is great. One of my favorite features is something they partially borrowed from Risk of Rain-- the ability to get fairly in depth statistics. You can view what classes you use most, your progress/achievements/etc.

9.5/10, very highly recommended for anyone! but if you liked Spelunky or RoR, you gotta grab it right now.

ToS is a great game that I’ve played hundred of hours on (mostly before acquiring the Steam version on Humble).

For anyone who isn’t aware, you can play this game on your browser for free with 100% of the features you get from buying the base game on Steam. So just play it online, and if you feel obliged, grab it on Steam for a couple bucks.

If you enjoy learning mechanics and strategies similar to those in games such as Mafia or Werewolf, you’ll like Town of Salem. It can be confusing and slow at first, but after 10 games or so, you’ll get a handle on how it works. There’s a lot of options for gamemodes including casual and ranked, as well as custom game modes where, is you’re the lobby host, you can choose the role list.

There are of course a few things that could be improved, but the devs are great at keeping on top of balancing and monitoring the game.

9.5/10, one of my favorite games of all time!

CS:GO Review
Almost 900 hours in, I feel like I should review the game. It's addicting, the community is rather toxic, but honestly there's an infinite amount of time to be spent on the game. Honestly if some kid asked me "should I start playing CSGO" I'd probably say no. These 1600 hours could've been spent on hundreds of other games, and maybe I would feel some sort of achievement for completing them. That being said, it's obviously a great game, focused on reaction time, crisp aiming, and strategy.

Honestly, the best part of CS for me has been the eSports. The pro scene is really enjoyable to watch and keep up with.

If you truly don't know if you should buy CS:GO, there's probably no need to. If you are interested in having months of your life sucked out of you and put into a single game (that is fairly entertaining), go for it.

Still good on 12/1/2019, but add command to disable custom player models please <3

Early Access Review
A cheap, fairly lightweight application that gives you animated backgrounds with audio and tons of other features. The workshop is ever expanding, giving you thousands of choices. There's also a background creator, which I haven't used, but it seems easy enough to use, just in case there isn't a background out there you'd like. Lots of customizations and settings. Didn't have an impact on my craptop on the lower end settings and certainly doesn't on my current PC, but even if it does you can tune it down. Multi-monitor support, well-made integrated workshop searching and seamless downloading.. not much more you could ask for.

For anyone wondering, you can use this without having Steam launched. Also, your playtime is based on when you have the search tool/application open, not when you're just using the wallpapers.

And no, you do not need to be obsessed with anime to use this program. Admittedly a lot of wallpapers are anime, but I don't like anime and I'm getting by just fine.

9.5/10, not much more you could ask for for such a fair and low price!

I got this game for free, but I still feel scammed.

Stephen didn't die for this.

terrible layout and menu, gameplay itself is okay for a retro style I guess but it's messy and poorly made..

Home definitely deserves more credit than it is given by many of the negative reviews. This game probably isn't for everyone, so I don't mind some of the negative reviews, but I think if those people looked at it from a new perspective, everyone could enjoy it.

This game is a unique "horror"/mystery game, and it is so unique that maybe it shouldn't be considered horror.

If you're looking for a "mystery" genre game, buy Home.
If you're looking for a jump scare horror game, don't buy Home.
If you're looking for a game to nerd out over the true meaning of, buy Home.
If you're looking for a satisfyingly concluded game, you probably shouldn't buy Home.
If you're looking for a game that requires you to think and evaluate what you're seeing, buy Home.

Home was an enjoyable experience that I would recommend to anyone that can have an open mind. Your choices matter in a way that's a lot more important and obvious than most games, and that's the major reason for most of the negative reviews. Whether you're looking for a simple game to relax and work through or a game to 100%, Home is a great buy.

Although I've tracked Overgrowth for several years now, a few weeks ago I finally purchased it and got addicted. The incredibly smooth combat compliments the stunning graphics to make for a great experience. Whether you like combat or story games, Overgrowth will not disappoint. A big plus for me, as a laptop gamer, is that the low graphics settings optimize FPS very well. I couldn't recommend the game more, it has endless opportunities with the base story, arena, custom levels, and tons of mods. Since it has been in development for so long, you'll rarely come across any bugs. There's a very active Discord channel for Wolfire, the developers, which adds to the community greatly.

Overgrowth has rapidly become one of my top 5 games of all time, and I'm happy to be the first(ish?) review out of Early Access.

I've played about 20 minutes but I can quite frankly tell you this is the most horrific experience you can ever have on Steam. It's truly hideous. The graphics, menus, loading screens, and everything is terribly drawn, inconsistent, and makes no sense in general. The gameplay itself is glitched, when I'm "swinging" on a rope I'm not even touching it, and the game crashed twice in my first ten minutes. A complete waste of money on a "game" that really never should have made it to the Steam Store.

I never leave such terrible reviews but based on all the completely obvious fake ones I truly need to explain that this game is disgusting. Even if this game was flawlessly made, nobody would legitimately describe it as "very intense gameplay" and it makes this game even worse knowing the developers are getting fake reviews.

1/10, absolutely no reason to buy or even be on Steam.

Tiles is a puzzle/reaction speed/quick thinking game where one must get from point A to point B while crossing certain tiles, some once, some twice, and some are optional. There are a couple different tile types, not too many to make it over complicated, but plenty to keep it interesting. Perhaps a few more could be added to give it more variety, but it's certainly fine in the current state. It's a simple concept very well expanded upon.

There's a long campaign of levels the developer made, as well as "World" maps which are made and uploaded by players. I've had a lot of fun with both of these level sets and appreciate the dev's commitment to adding the user-created level feature. The level editor is well made and easy to learn and use. As the game isn't extremely popular, there isn't quite a steady flow of player-made levels, but that is no fault of the devs and I believe the game will still keep one occupied for at the least several hours. If you want to make interesting puzzles in the format of Tiles, I would definitely recommend it!

The achievements set goals and mark your progress in the game, as well as being of medium difficulty to 100% for achievement hunters.

The developer is active and adds new features every once in a while, such as a local multiplayer mode. He has a Discord channel and is great to chat with, as well as the rest of the community!

I highly recommend Tiles, especially at such a low price. It isn't a mind blowing or extremely addictive game, but definitely a fun one. It has a smooth and high quality feel to it, and that's really important to me. The overall concept is unique and something that I believe everyone will enjoy, in one way or another.
