Have you ever wanted to play a platform fighter while feeling like you're overdosing on fentanyl with a controller submerged in lard? Then play Multiversus! Worst game I have ever had the displeasure of playing

A fantastic game that has a monetization system so bad it sours the experience.

I'd like to start out by saying that Tekken 8 is an incredible and fun game to play. But there are glaring issues that do make me reluctant on playing again in its current state. The lack of game balance and lack of action against cheaters/pluggers make ranked play very egregious to play. This is even worse when you consider the fact that Bandai Namco are prioritizing multiple forms of monetization including Season Passes, Tekken Shop for exclusive costumes, and a battle pass to boot. As if $70 for the game alone wasn't enough. A lot of the purchasable items are from past games and/or something that should have been in the base game already. What's more, Tekken Shop costumes costing 400 Coins means you can never only buy as much Coins as you need. And it really drives home the idea Tekken is really only interested in what's in your wallet.

TLDR: Bandai Namco care more about making money in the easiest way possible instead of addressing the issues that actually matter.

4 years later and 6000 hours since writing my last review, I still have a ton of content to do. This game is packed with story-rich content and a wide range of activities for any player.

Yakuza 0 was my introduction to the series. I was expecting it to be a bad ass Japanese gangster game where you beat up a bunch of hoodlums and feel invincible. I got exactly that. But what I didn't expect was the goofy side of activities you could do in your free time in Kamurocho and Sotenbori. This game makes me feel like a beast when I'm bulldozing through constant waves of enemies. The story had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. If you're playing for purely story, Yakuza 0 is good and serves as a prequel to first six games. I think Yakuza 0 (and the rest of the games in the series) really shines in it's extra content. You get to see all that Kamurocho and Sotenbori have to offer in its personality. You meet the people who inhabit it and some even have importance in future games. You can play minigames that would seem out of place in a game like this. And you can even have a chicken as your real estate manager. Overall. This game has entertained me for hundreds of hours and it holds a special place in my heart. I definitely recommend anyone to try this game out.
