Simple as, I do recommend this new version of Car Mechanic Simulator.

Going into the game, you do have to understand that it's basically the same game as Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 but with a fresh coat of paint. There's not much that differs between the two games in my opinion, the graphics aren't any different, and neither are any parts and components used in repairing the vehicles. Think of this game as buying FIFA one year and then the next.

Personally I am loving the game with all of that being mentioned. The loading times are a definite step up from it's predecessor. It just all feels optimised. Even if it's an underwhelming change, the introduction of being able to drain/refill a number of coolants and liquids from the vehicle. Using the examine tools, you gain experience for each part examined, making life a hell of a lot easier.

With this being a simulator to have the player be a car mechanic, one major factor that I'm happy to see developed further, is the garage itself. There's a hell of a lot more freedom and customisation available to the user. You don't upgrade your garage any more by unlocking it with skill points, instead you have to buy the upgrades as you progress throughout the game, yet the original method of using skill points to examine faster, move faster, repair at a higher durability, is all still there.

This rendition of Car Mechanic Simulator is easily the most user friendly for new players to buy. Whilst it's on sale for another two/three days, I'd look at getting it.

All I'm waiting for is additional DLC to be released, as well as community workshop items.

Still a fair bit to go within this game, but to begin with when I first saw the game I had my reservations. Those reservations and expectations were well and truly subverted. The combat was a learning-curve for me but if you are familiar with Dark Souls or games of the similar genre, you will catch on fairly quickly.

Sid Meier's Civilization® V

Sid Meier's Civilization is a franchise that is renowned for strategy. As each new rendition and game that enters the franchise excels expectations with a different set of rules. Definitely a game that you can quickly and just as easily pass time in. Without a doubt I recommend this game in particular and others as well.

Despite my playtime of just about three hours, this game is going to be joining my favourite games on Steam because I have found myself and will continue to find myself playing this game every now and again. Depending on how much of a strategic mindset you have, you can go far and each game/turn you play is different and you don't know what is infront of you. It's just a really indie good game to boot up, put on a film or listen to some music to.

Something that could be added or improved on the game is more items, units and perhaps bigger islands? I've only got halfway through the game before my commanders were lost in battle, so I don't know what else I have in-store for me but I'll be sure to get there at some point.

I would definitely recommend this game, especially now due it being somewhat discounted.

Car Mechanic Simulator 2018

I don't know whether it's due to the fact that I have found myself bored as of late. However for some odd reason, I have had an itch to play this game. Simulator games are often frowned upon because you can just go out, get some fresh air and truly get your hands dirty but I didn't mind much, I was just enjoying myself, putting on music or having a show on in the background as I repaired cars, rebuilt them and scoured Junkyards and Barns trying to find the car for me.

Pros:
• Able to just sit back, relax and not worry about anything.
• Multiple DLCs, as well as add-ons so you won't run out of new vehicles to take orders for.
• A perk/levelling system so you can have a sense of progression.
• The satisfaction from having multiple rebuilt wreckages in your garage/parking lot.

Cons:
• Despite I haven't entirely completed the game, I feel as once I have got all of the story missions locked down, the game will become more dry and repetitive.
• It can be seen as repetitive.
• If you have too many parts in your inventory at once, your game time and loading can become more strenuous. It is best to utilise your warehouses and repair/sell any spare or scrap parts that you have.

Wolfstein II: The New Colossus

Honestly, this is the first aberration of a Wolfenstein game that I've played and I only decided to purchase it because I saw it demonstrated at E3 and it just had everything that I wanted. Now despite I didn't play the other games, I still got the jist of what the story-line was and I can happily say that it's one of my favourite games to date for it's story-line and it made me purchase the predecessor titles as well and I hope that I can enjoy them just as much.

If you love killing Nazis, this is definitely the game for you.

Call of Duty: WWII

Before I begin, this review represents the Open Beta stage of the game.

I've seen a lot of negative reviews about this game on how people are purchasing the game solely due to them being fans of the game and they're not supporting the developers for the game itself. Now personally I've not played a Call of Duty game in about two to three years. Potentially even longer. Now this Call of Duty peaked my interested due to the fact that it's set in the WWII era and I've played about two hours of the game so far and I genuinely enjoyed it, the fast-paced combat is something that I missed but I found it diffcult to explore other possibilities of the game such as sniping for example.

On-top of talking about sniping within the video game, I felt there were severe balancement issues especially with one of the shotguns/trench guns that seemed to have the dragon's breath shells which were just severely overpowered and even if you killed the enemy the shells would incinerate you. Further to talk about the performance of the game now. As soon as I loaded in, I was unimpressed with the smoothness of the game and I additionally saw that people were talking about how it's a poor port of the game from console and I would definitely agree with that. I was having severe processor usage issues for the game I believe or it was the server, it was hard to tell but I would believe it's the processor usage so I'm going to be trying to resolve that issue for myself soon enough so I'm not going to entirely just put a downer on the game due to that.

Overall I don't think that I'll be preordering the game just for these points that I defined, I'll probably wait until after it's released and/or once it's reduced slightly regardless of it seeming like a game that I will genuinely enjoy once my performance issues are resolved.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

This game has been out for about two years now and unfortunately for me it still doesn't feel like a fully released game due to the amount of bugs which are rolled in each patch, with that being said though this game has a lot of potential to have a major competitive scene which should last for years due to it requiring for you to perfect multiple game factors.

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS

It's not even the end of the year yet and I can tell you that this is going to be the game of the year, for me anyway.

Yes it might be a bit of a hit and miss right now due to it being in early access and it's going to require testers to iron out all of the bugs but this game is indubitably definitely worth the amount it's retailed for. I had my doubts on if my computer would be able to run it or not at first but I just went on a limb and sold all of my virtual skins and managed to purchase it.
