Though i can't say i am a pot-fan, this game actually came in close to being listed as one of my favorite so far. Totally enjoyable without needing to like harry potter at all.

The dev took a sliding puzzle and made it into an RPG.
I've seen a lot of puzzle inspired RPGs, but sliding is sure one challenging concept there, especially when they even make it more fun than the originals, great job to the devs!

By Story, this is the sequel to the previous game Gibbous, but with a change in gameplay mechanism.
Honestly speaking, the new mechanism has given this game a higher replayability in compared to old Gibbous, but that's just the only thing it's better than Gibbous. Just imagine playing Hogswarts Legacy in 2D without the action and puzzles with a copy-cat story right off HL linking some of its story back to Gibbous, and that's all you have to expect in this game...

Though one can choose freely on how they progress the game to the very end, but due to there's only 1 ending (obviously a plan for another sequel), like what others may said, the story felt linear, and even spoon-fed at some point, making this sequel stray from the traditional point & click adventure game like what Gibbous is... so other than the replay part, the rest are actually inferior to Gibbous, for the old fans, a downgraded experience in compare.

Don't get me wrong, the story is still great (a majority of it is a copycat right off Hogwarts Legacy, so it's hard to hate), and we're glad to see what becomes of Kitteh and some of the other old NPCs showed up in this sequel as well, and some even have extra story told on them. So for Gibbous's fan, this sequel is still worth a shot. Just don't go in expecting another Gibbous and you'll be fine.

If you're a fan of Hogwarts Legacy or a "Pot Head", you might either find this game hard to swallow or like it. This is basically a mini-version of Hogwarts Legacy's gameplay + background but in 2D and have a few things renamed or redesigned and no real battle... eg. Message Owls = Mitzkin, Game progression through Magic Classes (this game adds a forced quiz at the end of each class), Flying (instead of brooms, you float in a hippy way), and the story, down to the very climax scene is a direct copy from Hogwarts Legacy, they just changed the ancient magic professors to the witch ladies, etc etc... to be frank, this game lacks originality due to how much they copy from Hogwarts Legacy. Honestly, so much that i can even call this game just a "fan creation" of Hogwarts Legacy. So if this doesn't bother you, go ahead and jumps aboard, if you feels like you might hate it, better just take a look at other's playthough on the net then decide if you want to play it or not.

And don't be fooled by the misleading trailers on the store page, a lot of those nice looking animations are not in the game (I've 100% the game so i can tell you that). This game, in overall, is a huge let down. Let's hope they don't do another one of these lazy copy-cat on their sequel, else it's the end for this studio. At least i won't be buying anymore if this continues.

This is very similar to VPet Simulator, but slightly advanced in the coding, UI and mini games.

Still require a lot of work from the dev before one can call this useful.

There isn't a lot of function other than a 3D model file player and a sort of chatbot.
And that BGM, is that even required for a desktop companion? I can't find a way to turn it off too. If this wasn't an Early Access i'd have given it a thumbs down just for that alone.

Honestly speaking, if you want a workable desktop assistant that really works, just go use SSP Ukagaka, it's free, came with a large data base of anime characters (over 20+ years) and highly customize-able.

It's just a live wallpaper. Not even a desktop companion like advertised.
You require a miHoYo account to login, not sure why a wallpaper needs an account.

Well.. since it has been taken down there really isn't much to "warn" about as no new players can get get their hands on this anymore.

A cute little desktop mascot app like those from 20 years ago...
Just like the good old days, these mascots will move around your screen while you go on with your tasks.
Comes with community workshop for all sorts of downloads.

Lack of proper exit button.
Mainly a gacha system that heavily rely on RNG on pets you get from the eggs.

Other than that, you get a desktop mascot "pet" walking around your screen. And make sound when you clicked on it. But a big no on the gacha part that require real money microtransaction.

Don't get fooled by the promotion trailer on the store page.
This doesn't do much, and the AI is having trouble understanding a lot of commands.

It doesn't open most apps correctly, asking it to open something it will open another... in certain languages setting it won't even try to open anything...

Not to mention there's a limit to the AI chat and you have to wait for the "unlock" from time to time before you can use the chat more.

The character itself just stands there or hide at the right corner of the screen, it doesn't move around or do anything... it doesn't even interact with other parts or corners of the screen just the right... And when it hides, it's hard to click on and get it to show again, you need to actually pull the character back on the screen before you can interact more like input command... it's a pain in the long run...

Not recommended until those bugs are fixed and heavy QoL features are implemented...

If you want a good desktop assistant with Anime characters of your own choices, just use SSP Ukagaka, it's free and 100% flexible for customize. And Ukagaka can do so much more stuffs that this app promised and failed to deliver.

A wacky desktop mascot app that comes with a mini game.
Might need a lot of time commitment if you're after those achievements.

If you're expecting something like the SSP Ukagaka, then you might be disappointed.
So just view this as a desktop companion that's weirdly huge in size...
