Gone Home is almost all story and atmosphere and no gameplay, and that is totally fine. It's an entertaining couple of hours of exploring a house and figuring out what has happened to the protagonist's family, both during her now-finished year abroad and before that as well. Teen issues, love, writer's cramp and relationships are all themes that feature prominently in this game. From the minute you arrive on the doorstep and notice that the entire family is missing you'll be intrigued and rush around looking for clues. It's a bit like Myst albeit with near-to-none puzzles.

I wouldn't recommend buying it at its default price unless you really want to increase the demand for storydriven indie games. Get it at a discount, play it once with normal settings, once with commentary, reflect on it and move on.
