This is my second favorite game of all time, but it's a bit tricky to recommend.
The game has been abandoned by its developer and a small community has been keeping it alive since then as many of the features it once had were broken near the end of it receiving official support.

All that being said, I still recommend it whenever it's on sale. You can play any song you own and as long as you join the online community you can also play any YouTube video. The game is still the most visually impressive and strategically expressive rhythm game ever made and worth giving a shot despite its nearly dead modding scene and many issues.

The most visually impressive Monster Hunter game. If you're interested in deep combat, weighty attacks, complex but well designed environments, and beautiful, well-differentiated bosses to fight, then check it out.
This game is worth every dollar at full price and is a steal on sale.

I've owned this game for a few years now, and it would just be disingenuous to say that I don't recommend this game to nearly everyone I talk to. It probably goes into my Top 5 favorite games of all time despite how few hours I've put into it just because I have so many fantastic memories that can only really be replicated in a game like D&D.
This is singleplayer D&D in my opinion. With fantastic, incredible stories that can only be made because they were never written, they just happened.

The third, and final, part to this economic themed kinetic novel series, lasting about 13 hours.

This episode's budget reached newer heights with some absolutely fantastic pieces in its music score as well as much appreciated vfx. The writing for the game seemed to take a bit of a dip in the first third of the game due to what I believe was a lack of a goal for our characters, however, the final third of the game was a roller coaster of emotion and truly was the perfect way to end this fantastic series. It showed exactly what the readers wanted in their heart since the beginning of the trilogy while still giving that "Just show another ten minutes," feeling. I could likely gush about this game for hours, but I don't need to since you can too.

After 14 hours of gameplay, this is a fantastic introduction to a trilogy that will remain in my heart for decades.

Superb writing that was held back in some respects by odd screen stuttering during transitions and audio issues when tracks looped.

This is my first game review.
Endless Legend is a 4x game. So there is a lot of expansion, killing people, hexagon map structure, and fairly poor diplomacy. But no 4x has good diplomacy. Now the closest comparisons for 4x I can find are Civ 5 and Civ: BE.
The similarities:
-Civ BE and EL both have only ~8 factions, whereas Civ 5 has many.
-Typical 4x strategy
-Hexagon map
Differences:
-Uses a province system
-Cities have much more strategy in shape
-Pesky roads are automatic (THANK YOU!)
-Soundtrack is better than the others
-Technology tree: EL uses tiles, Civ 5 uses a tree, Civ BE uses a web
-Unique items for units
-Special leader units that have skill mapping
-The 8 factions are very unique and have more than just stat differences
-You can form alliances
-Market place with supply and demand
-Every unit is unique to eachother (Every. Single. One!)
-The map has height
-Strategic resources and luxeries are strategic
-The game has its own unique lore tied with 2 other games

Don't take this too seriously. This was just my first stab at a "review". Just thought I should list some stuff that people should know about the game if they don't already. Have fun!
