Neat little game with pretty art and nice music, not a word is spoken.

Broken, boring, but playable.

Gameplay is very glitchy and buggy. 90% of reloads I had to do was because of this, not because I made mistakes, or died, or needed to git gud.
- Movement feels like moon gravity. You're walking down some steps and suddenly you're gliding sideways. If you jump over an obstacle it's in a long wide arc over it. Ridiculous.
- Bullets randomly and fairly often go through enemies without hitting them (not missing, just straight up going through them), if you're trying to snipe silently, bye bye stealth because enemy is now alerted bcz the bullet hit something behind them. If you're in a close range fight with mutants then you're taking pointless damage and waste time on reloads bcz of these immaterial shots.
- Speaking of immateriality, apparently enemies can also walk through obstacles and closed/barred doors. They can also damage you, and even spot you through walls and stuff which brings me to
- Stealth. Things mentioned above are unforgivable considering that the story consequences are literally locked behind stealth/non-lethal choices.
- Another thing I encountered was lights resetting after a reload. Here you are making a quick save in safety of the darkness, but when you reload suddenly you're standing under a working light bulb.
- Enemies also always magically know exactly where you are. There is no moment of investigation when a body is discovered. All heads turn to where you are 3 miles away from the body and start unloading the bullets.

Story and characters is where the boring comes in. Nobody seemed like they have any kind of distinct personality. Everyone is yapping about the same things in the same way. I had trouble telling some of the characters apart because they just blurred together. I stopped lingering to listen to ally conversations because they never said anything even remotely interesting.

The world is empty. If you explore, you do it for some scrap of resources because there is rarely anything else worth exploring for. Most of the diary entries you find are not worth a read. The conversations you can optionally overhear from the enemies are as empty and boring as those of your allies, and you only wait for them to end so that they would move on with their patrols and you can progress the level.

The locals in the different zones also all felt the same. Same bowl of soup but with 1 or 2 different ingredients. None of it also felt immersive or believable. It's been 22 years since nukes, there is a whole generation of youth who grew up with this as the norm. In theory. Yet all the surface survivors behave like it's been maybe 2 years, like they are barely just managing to adjust to a new reality. In addition to that, writing-wise the takes on them felt rather shallow and one-dimensional.

The three women we encounter immediately get assigned a mandatory love interest from Aurora's male crew. Lol.

The OST of the game is not memorable. The scenery was okay at times but nothing groundbreaking. Atmosphere of the previous games was not here. Nothing spooky, nothing creepy. Nothing that made me sit on the edge of my seat with tension. No exciting sequences of action.

I usually always find something to like about any game I play, not matter how minor. I guess, there is a first time for everything.

Nice little game with good atmosphere, cute cat, and easy enough puzzles. Most of the time you will spend paging through your book trying to identify the plants. I didn't really vibe with the story; it was a bit simple. I wish it was slightly longer with more depth and choices, but I still really enjoyed the game.

Cute art, interesting characters, relaxing gameplay, many things to do. Game still gets occasional content updates with no additional cost. Worth picking it up every once in a while again.

This game is feeding my love of cyberpunk/neon aesthetic, I could fly around Nivalis for hours.
The soundtrack is great!
Story and quests are fun!

Soundtrack was nice, overall game seemed cool and I really, really wanted to play it but the absolutely horrible controls made me drop it. 0.4hr over 2hours limit so I can't refund. Rip.

I enjoyed my time with this game, so here's a rundown of things that stood out for me

° the game explored many serious topics and I liked the messages it sent, most were handled good, some less so, sometimes quests focused on one thing all while there was an elephant in the room, that felt a bit odd

° main story was great, loved de Sardet and Constantin's relationship dynamic, carefully crafted animation and dialogue nuances that can be easily missed if you don't pay attention

° interesting side quests, through clues sometimes predictable, sometimes not, plot twists that make sense
° on that note, some of the quests felt like they were cut off suddenly. I would have loved to see something of the trial stuff, as well as the last companion quest for Kurt really needed a cutscene

° voice acting and dialogue was great, but there was some unpolished and clunky writing here and there. Also not a whole lot of variation in dialogue choices

° liked the companions and most of their quests (Aphra's was kinda awkward, was the point of it that she's demi?)

° soundtrack was nice, but not too memorable

° very beautiful world, made me miss nature, geocaching and trekking through random forests at lot ; D however not too impressive for fantasy genre

° story stuff aside, gameplay is very accessible and easy to understand, there are elements of ingredient gathering, crafting, stealth, inventory management, none of it complicated. Exploration was straightforward, everything is visible on the map

° combat is fast paced and fun, but it could get too repetitive. By the last third of the game I just kept running away from any encounter that wasn't part of a quest. Could use more variation in skills and abilities. Yes, there's no class restrictions, and you can respec, which I did to mix things up, but there's still not enough abilities/spells for a single build. The nadaig boss battles were fun, but on hard and nightmare diffs you risk getting carpal tunnel lol (maybe with controller it's easier)

° special mention for giving that last choice at the end of the game. In this house we love and support Constantin
