Really nice cosmetic pack and for a good and fair price, kudos to the devs for actually releasing cosmetics with regional pricing this time! Hopefully we'll see that as a trend in the future!

For those who had issues during the purchase, I also had it but the pack got delivered over in-game mail today.
If you keep having issues, log out of the Steam client and log in back, then try repairing the game files, after I did that Steam went and downloaded two files it considered "broken", which seems to have triggered the in-game mail.

I've played it during the CBT and demo, and now during the official release, I guess almost 250h is a good spot for a review.

Things I definitely like about the game:
  • Absolutely no P2W stuff, at all. There's monetization, but nothing that gives you an advantage against anyone else, unless you're trying to win some kind of contest involving your home or your character design.
  • The game is actually quite casual-friendly, you can do a lot by playing just a few hours per day. Trying to rush the game will make you hit the time gate of your current phase, which while not so nice for hardcore players, allows for everyone to progress together.
  • Seasons are implemented in a quite interesting way. Each season is split into phases, which unlock every week or so, bringing new content. The first season has 5 phases of content plus a 6th phase, which lasts a month, where you transfer your loot over to a personal instance (which can be partially sent back to the next season), and also can opt between playing that extra month on the season (to finish any pending quests) or just proceed to the next one right away.
  • There's a lot of diversity in the game in terms of things to build at your base, combinations of gear, character customizations, monsters and mechanics. Many things involve exploration, like finding "formulas" for new furniture.

    Things I feel could be improved:
  • Building mode is a bit awkward, things frequently snap in the wrong place, specially when dealing with roofs or stairs, and quarter height walls are really hard to work with, requiring a lot of messing around to actually work. Paid skins also are weird, for example, the $50 Glass House doesn't seem to have skins for the Small variants, which is quite a shame, in my opinion, considering even the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you find in the game work with them.
  • Events like The Prime war are very buggy and laggy. Those events are the peak events, and yet, even limited at 40 players they still have tons of lag, even in smaller numbers like 10 players. In many instances I've seen lots of rubber banding, rollbacks, bosses getting stuck in "Immune" state, all of those leading to the event failing and players losing all resources they spent there.
  • I feel there's some lack of information from the devs, in many times players had multiple questions and were left in the dark, specially during release, only hear back when the issue blew up on media. They do seem to be interested in working with players, but communications are still a bit of an issue.
  • The current separation of PvE/PvP servers is a bit odd, at least for the first season, the content is pretty much the same, except you get different deviations (pets) and different world events. Everything else seems to work the same way, which makes me feel it could have been implemented differently, maybe separate worlds/layers for PvP gameplay, so everyone could be in the same server.

    Things I truly dislike:
  • Griefing is very common issue on The Prime War, where players spam lots of buildings up to the structure limit, preventing others from actually making any defenses. In some cases they also enclose the spawn are (where you teleport to the event) or even spam structures near the area you defend, so you can't actually build anything there. There's no way to remove other player's buildings, which completely ruins the experience. We don't have any confirmation of reports having an effect here, and the buildings also remain there.
  • The way servers are divided is really bad, because while your character exists in a physical region, it is bound to a specific server (non-transferrable). After a certain point, the server "locks" and nobody can make characters there, which leads to very low populations after the hype of a new season ends. Would be nicer if they leveraged the world system to transparently let us move between different servers (as long they are in the same season schedule and region).

    Overall, I would say the game has lots of potential, possibly a 7.5/10 if I had to rate it in the current state.
    As I said, most of the issues I noticed are definitely something that can be improved (like bugs/lag), and I wouldn't consider the whole PvE/PvP separation thing a complete negative, since it also opens the door for different scenarios in the future, with actually different content, so let's see. The only things I really dislike are the griefing issues and how servers work, but I feel those will eventually get addressed.

    If you're unsure about whether to try the game or not, I would highly recommend you give it a try! There's definitely a gem hidden here, it may just need some polishing.

Really great city builder game, specially when you bring in the terraforming and campaign aspects! The story is somewhat short, but 100% worth playing through!

Have been playing The Front for a few weeks now. Here's a quick overview:

[ Positives ]
- Developers are communicative and listen to the community;
- One of the issues that many reviews pointed was the anti-cheat, which they switched to EAC;
- Frequent updates, most recent ones seem to be focusing on fix bugs and issues, which is great;
- Lots of things and systems to get into, even after getting to level 60 you still have the exotic blueprints to go after;

[ Negatives ]
- Still needs some optimization, specially after you explore the map a lot, as the fps will go down;
- Some systems such as electricity need a bit more of explanation on how they work, as there's things such as small delays between connecting something and it being powered (which some people pointed as intentional);
- Official servers seem to have a bit of a performance issue sometimes, but they seem to be working on that as recent updates improved it quite a bit;
- The learning curve is still quite steep, so using the wiki is pretty much essential;

It's a quite good simulator, if you get it to work. In my case, the game keeps crashing even with a decent hardware (5900X, RTX 3080Ti, 32GB, Gen4 NVMe) with no error messages or anything else, in one moment it's doing its thing then the next it just closes back to desktop. This is going on for MONTHS and the developers just don't seem to care to fix it. Makes you really reconsider if it was worth buying that game.

Also, a note on the very bad design - downloads and updates only happen with the game open. The initial download is around 120GB and you can expect to have very large updates. And yep, you MUST have the game open the whole time, it simply won't download/update in background with Steam or anything like that. I don't know who thought this was going to be a good idea, but that person should be fired for such a stupid idea, specially considering the size of the game and its updates.

Overall, in the state the game is right now I really don't recommend it. It had everything to be good, the graphics are great and the planes are very detailed, but that's only worth if you can start the game in the first place.

I'd say THIS is the game I've been looking for since ever. It's very fun, both in survival and creative modes, single and multiplayer too, and you pretty much don't get tired of it. In survival mode you will face lots of grind, but then you will make a great base or ship and it will be worth it. Same thing for creative, you will spend hours building cool ships, trying to not have a clang moment and later using them in real games, because YES, YOU CAN DO THIS. You can literally build a ship on local creative mode, blueprint it and later use this blueprint to build it on a multiplayer survival server. There's also lots of mods and scripting possibilities.

100% recommend this game.

Considering this isn't yet a full release game, Rust is an amazing game. Even though it may feel a little boring to farm stuff sometimes and requires a decent computer, you will find many hours of fun here.

Well, I don't always write game reviews, but I guess this one deserves it. This game is almost as old as me and, while I first played it back when I was around 5 or 6, I still consider it one of the best games ever made.

It may not have the best graphics today, but back when this came out, it sure was amazing. The fantasy theme inspired me all through my childhood and even through my teenage and adult life. The game has everything a good game needs:

The storyline is very well made, with a few plots here and there and also doesn't force to follow it. You can roam around if you want to, even though doing so you may not find so much stuff to do, but it's a pretty cool experience.
The world itself is pretty large and detailed, with many different places to go, different people, experiences and perks hidden around. I can't say it's completely an open world, but it comes really close to one. And consider this was back in 1997!
At some point you may even wish you could spend some vacations around all localities in the game, because yeah, it's really that beautiful.

The characters are also another thing that I love on this game. Pretty much every single character you will find around has their own personality and traits, even if they don't do any part in the story itself. You can also interact and talk with them, which is pretty cool! Regarding the main characters, they also have some background stories and it's VERY HARD not to fall in love or get emotionally attached to them.

The soundtrack is simply AMAZING. It has these nostalgic 90's game vibes, but at same time sounds just as modern and cool as any current game. It's very well crafted and matches the current map you're in, making the game even more immersive. It's also very inspiring and sparks some nice creativity too :P

It's worth every cent of it's price, maybe even more!
