Really fun for the first time playing, ok for the second. But the game isn't balanced at all. There's a few expansions that simple add more options, but ultimately the core game is the same. There's no real repeatability as there's a very simple route to 'winning,' that the game will even steer you toward. It's incredibly easy to pass every piece of legislation, run a positive budget with over a trillion in surplus banked, and have the clear majority of your populace love you so that you handily win every election.

Don't get me wrong, this is a fun game. Just not worth the full price. A good catch if you can grab it on a big sale; if you have money burning a hole in your pocket and looking for a simple but fun strategy game pick this up, otherwise hold off.

Possibly the most annoying interface, ever.

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ garbage. plain & simple. There's a reason it was free. Where do I even begin? The controls are wonky as hell and can't be rebound. The levels are designed in the most asinine way possible to force what should be a roguish assassin experience into a poor attempt at run-and-gun gameplay. The PC is slower than ♥♥♥♥, as in the player character has an artificial hindrance to the speed at which the player can move, in both moving and firing, while all the enemy NPCs run like bats out of hell and can shoot with precision accuracy even while taking off at cheetah speed. The only winning approach is to game the system, for all its advantages the AI is a stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and will lose interest in finding the guy who just sniped one or two of his buddies if you quickly backtrack and sit still for a few minutes. Not worth the time and effort even to download.

Good in concept but bad in execution, Neo Scavenger has an atrocious UI that makes the game basically unplayable. It's simply madening trying to figure out how to even do anything in game. 15 mins later, I'm still trying to figure out to properly sleep, and the plot has been completely forgotten as I stumble through one screen option after another simply attempting to use a sleeping bag.

It's crack. Plain & simple. If you can survive your first time, then you're hooked for life.
