After waiting 2+ years seeing this release today made me VERY VERY excited, and I'm both very pleased and somewhat disappointed. Now given that its early access most of my complaints will probably be squashed given time, so I'll only state my main one. What would that be? My favorite setting and their corresponding troops didnt return from the open alpha; the future/star wars setting/troops. Now this is mostly personal preference, but not seeing them there did make me a little sad. Even with that said though, I was very satisfied with this game and feel like given time it could be even better.

TABG is easily the most fun Battle Royale game for one reason: It doesnt take itself seriously. You can join a game and (given there are enough players to start a match) odds are no matter what if you're playing the game like its meant to be played you wont leave without at least a grin. The main problem is simply the lack of players, I think it could help the game immensely if it got some more publicity. I recommend the game, but sadly it looks like its days are coming to an end.

After using the steam controller a bit I can certainly say this is my new favorite controller. Its an innovative concept with a good execution. I wont make some long winded review saying all the pros and cons, Ill instead just say that if you're on the fence about getting this I would highly recommend you do.

Edit: About a year in I've had minimal problems BUT just today part of the right bumper broke making the button useless. This seems to be a pretty common break among sc owners so a fix cant be too hard, but given how common this issue is I'd like to see valve remake the bumper system.

Edit 2: Recently I took the controller apart and fumbled around looking for the problem, and it was a teeny tiny piece on the bumper that needed to be simply glued on. Now that the controller works good as new i have no complaints, though i do think that the bumper system should be made sturdier

$1 serves as a simple time killer to cool off from the overwhelming games out there. I reccomend as a simple time killer, dont expect GOTY.

Game itself is fun but the community is the most cancerous ive ever come across. Most of the people you're going to encounter are either spammers or some kid who thinks only using blaster sair qualifies him for diamond. The devs also show no interest in balancing certain weapons (axe) or by making ranked 1v1 actually fun, and right now its insufferable. I would only recommend playing ranked if you have an extremely high level of patience or a friend to play with you, because playing in any form of competitive setting is going to be a pure nightmare.

I've been playing this game since its release on Xbox and I must say, its only gotten better. The PC version has much more people online and many new additions the Xbox edition doesnt have. Very unique game (from my experience) and is a great game for being free.

Tf2 is a great game that has managed to stay afloat even in todays market, but valves constant dismissal of this game is hurting it. If valve doesnt decide to give this game more resources sadly it will fade away.

More less a way to support Nelson and get a couple of decent cosmetics if you dont have any
