no matter how much potential the game has, no matter how awesome Portal is: the poor technical state, the terrible UI, the bad balance- and even the fact that Portal has it's own unique bugs that make the experience inauthentic compared to the previous games- I cannot in good faith recommend Battlefield 2042.

I'll revisit and review the game in the future, but for now, it simply isn't worth it, even as a hardcore Battlefield fan I just cannot put any more emotional stock into this game.
play any previous Battlefield game, they are still populated, and the older ones are even supported by the community and you will have a much better Battlefield experience- even Battlefield V.
EA/DICE, fix this game! after the launch of Battlefield 4, the launch Battlefield V and now with Battlefield 2042- this is strike 3, you should be out by now! last chance!
