weapons really feel impactful, excellent sound design, cleverly designed maps and enemies - all-round terrific game.

EDIT: Very based of the devs for giving us the most unbalanced "dilemma" in any game ever. Shall I give the panacea to: a) the kindhearted bad-ass with the massive bazongas, who sells all the ammo and equipment or b) the ugly, back-stabbing, alcoholic gremlin who only sells potions.

Good, but it has the same problem as the Pale Reach, where the Lovecraftian element feels kinda downplayed, even though thats the main draw.

I'm not an 80s kid, but I still love the aesthetic and environmental design, its very well done. I love the scavenging phases, but the shelter could be more interactive. Very excited for full release!

The game tells almost nothing about what to do, and yet I am making progress and loving every minute of it. Its just that beautifully and brilliantly designed.

It's a nice, brief addition to the main game; although, I'd have preferred if the mega narwhal simply went back to sleep, waiting for another victim, rather than just flat-out dying. It puts a damper on the whole Lovecraftian element if the beast just perishes once its plan is foiled.
