Easily one of the most competitive games available. Great artwork, great combat, great everything.

Having played Mirage for a few hundred hours between alpha and beta, I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys competitive, high-skill-ceiling games. Undoubtedly Mirage is not Chivalry 2, however it is not meant to be. It borrows from Chivalry's combat system heavily while also adding its own touches (magic). Thematically the games differ greatly, however their combat system remains similar in retaining the excitement of melee combat (minus the unhealthy mechanics such as backswings and trading). Mirage is by no means perfect, but that doesn't mean you can't experience the same fun or competitive aspects that you might have had in Chivalry. It offers a different dynamic on the melee system which I would recommend for anyone to try.
