Performance is terrible, but the game is great. A huge step up from the first game mechanically. More enemies, more saber stances, more force powers... it's an awesome game. That said, it's been almost two months since the last significant update... Don't buy it is my recommendation.

Whenever you update to a 40 series+ card I would recommend this. I just got a new card, but my old 1070TI struggled with this game, even with DLSS. Look up a performance video on YT that pertains to your specs if you're interested. If you do play, I would recommend blocking out 2 hours if you can. One hour for shader compilation and and one for play. After these two hours you can still usually get a steam refund if you would like one.
I played in 2014 on a PS4, and I'm working may way through again 9 years later! The Last of Us doesn't have a particularly unique story, but it has a particularly well told story. There is a reason this game is so well regarded. Almost all the negative reviews are because of the instability of the port, not because of the game itself. If you do pick this up, I wish you a right fun experience! GLHF y'all!

One of my favourite games, and definitely my favourite strategy game. A classic series that I can recommend. XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Terror from the deep, and this game are all fantastic. I especially recommend this game, and also recommend getting mods for the game if you get bored or frustrated with any mechanics- the modding community for this game is amazing! Still updating to this day and uploading some fantastic mods! Turn limits frustrating? Get a mod to increase them/remove them. Game too easy now? Get mods to help the AI be smarter or have better units. Not enough mission types for you? Mods for that. Troop customisation mods, campaign mods that change the way you play and make the game longer if you wish, mods that add more classes, mods for everything! It's a highly mod-able strategy/tactical game. You are the Commander, you lead the resistance of humanity against ADVENT (the puppet government of "the Elders"- the aliens who invaded earth 20 years prior). Your main goal is to foster a global guerrilla rebellion in order to stop the "AVATAR Project," and to overthrow ADVENT before they can cement their grasp over humanity. The strategy of the game comes in the form of the campaign map. You pilot the Avenger, a repurposed alien craft that houses the headquarters of the resistance. You must contact resistance groups, scavenge for supplies, stay hidden from enemy UFOs, and decide which operations to conduct with your troops. You can only ever be in one location at a time... choose wisely when it comes down to what you would like to accomplish. At the same time, make sure that you are researching upgrades for your troops, your ship, and your resistance as a whole, and then spending your resources wisely on those upgrades. In terms of tactical gameplay, this comes from the missions you deploy your troops into. Combat is a turn based combat between your units and enemy units in which you decide where to move your troops to try to flank, snipe, blow up, etc. your enemy while making sure that your troops are taking as little fire as possible, as well as completing whatever the goal of the mission is. Protect a device, steal something, blow something up, capture, assassinate, rescue, investigate, protect a group of people, and more if you wish to mod your game. All this adds up to a lot of thinking, and a lot of fun! Good luck Commander!

Singleplayer Campaign - The $60 thing
The Campaign was good. It's a fun linear small open world game. The music is stellar, the grappling hook is incredibly fun and the art style is great. The campaign is really good, but not longer than 12 to beat the campaign, and with all the side missions don't take very long to do either, I'm almost done with 100%ing it on a save, and I will eventually get around to "finishing the fight," if you will. So, good and definitely cheaper than the amount of money you would spend watching movies at home for the same time, so I would say it's worth it.

Multiplayer - The "Free" One
The multiplayer gameplay core is very good, it needs some balancing and updates to it's performance both in frame rate and in netcode, though. There are a few issues with the weapon sandbox, but I think there is a good chance it will eventually get changed for the better. The store and battlepass are terrible, I'm sure you heard that, and if you have not there are plenty of youtube videos and forums to visit if you want to learn more. In my opinion this game will be on a better track when the prices of most items are reduced a little bit more, especially for the items that are just a color and emblems. Why is this easy system they created to make coatings, that they said they can easily pump out, costing the end user $7 for the colour red and an emblem no-one wants? There needs to be a catalogue as well, and a way to earn cosmetics slowly for free in addition. Most importantly though, there needs to be at least some content updates.

It's a masterpiece.

First is first, watch guides, there is a lot to the game, stick with it if you can, you'll get it.

I just got caught up with the story... I love it. I know some people critisise the grind- and that is valid- but I found it was worth it and even fun. The community seems to be generally helpful and nice. Trading is fun, and can help you advance faster, letting you go where you want to go. I recommend this game to anyone, especially for those with friends to play with. I hope your time in Warframe will be as special as mine. Enjoy. :)
