Almost nothing in this game works in terms of game design. I have given it multiple chances and it has never managed to capture my attention for more than an hour before I gave up on its asinine systems. Frankly the game feels insulting to play as there are zero stakes in anything you do, and the military aspects feel very shoe-horned, even by Anno standards. I should have uninstalled this game hours ago.

One of the best games in this genre, though not quite as good as Celesphonia. Definitely worth playing though, as it's still a Shimobashira game at the end of the day. I just wish the transformation was a bit more gradual.

One of the greatest and most immersive map games, as others have already pointed out. Here's hoping they take the right lessons from Imperator when making EU5.

Surprisingly fun and addictive game with a nice gameplay loop that keeps you coming back. Finding new strategies is quite satisfying and makes you feel like a 300 IQ Gamer™. The UI is a little basic, but the character art is really nice to look at. If you're looking for a good blend of JRPG and rogue-like, this is it.

One of the greatest RPGs I have ever played. If you want a HARDCORE role-playing experience, this game's for you. Especially if you're a boomer like myself. Happy pwnage! :^)
