I'll never know what it felt like to wait six and a half years for the game to come out. But I know that if I had to, it'd be worth both the years and the $20 spent.

Everything about the game is stunning, and that's saying a lot for something made out of RPG maker. Not much else to say except the themes aren't for everyone, especially if you're sensitive to severe mental health issues. I simply hope the Undertale fandom doesn't lay a finger on this masterpiece.

Often people will be skeptical of Bug Fables, thinking that it's just another game that baits nostalgia.

Yooka Laylee advertised itself as a modern twist on the classic Banjo Kazooie, but failed to deliver substantially. Bug Fables advertised itself as the game that old school Paper Mario fans would love. The difference here is that Bug Fables rekindled my love for passionate projects and did more than enough to satisfy my seemingly everlasting hunger for turn-based RPGs.

From playing Bug Fables for the first time, it's incredibly obvious there was so much passion radiating from the content it provided. The developers behind the game loved Paper Mario as much as the fans did - a game from the fans, by the fans.

Spend the 20 bucks. It's worth every second.
