This is parts one and two of one of the best sci fi epics I've ever experienced in any medium. Many will tell you that part one is a little shaky at best, but I enjoyed it quite a bit, and it's important to experience it to understand the rest of the story. Part two, however, changes things up and sets up for part three, which won't be out until at least this winter. Definitely something you should play.
