Every few months I like to launch into the game, walk into blackwater, and shoot the feminists. 10/10 would buy again

I very much enjoy this game, but modding is overly complicated.

Nothing about the game i'm critiquing here. But i just wanted to let you know its ridiculous.

It's been 2 hours stuck in this hell loop. get me out, GET ME OUT!!

I just bought the game for the music alone.

I'm a huge fan of the Tokyo ghouls anime series but no matter how hard I try to like this, Sadly this game is just extraordinarily boring.

Level design practically includes a narrow pathway flooded with easy AI to drag out time, no additional secret items to be found or even bother the player to explore this tiny map, and barely any intractable props to use except barrels and door buttons are used making fights even staler. Level design is sleep-inducing from how repetitive the corridor door-like map layout is designed.

Massive chunks of the story are thrown out the window skipping key vital parts of the anime and character arc making the player who hasn't seen the series perplexed and disconcerted about what's even happening within the story. However, is greeted by snippets of clips to not lose the player interest but ultimately it's used to pad out time by the lazy developers instead of adding it towards a player-able level.

Game-play is a spam fest of using abilities which stun locks most enemies over and over again whittling their health down to be greeted with what do you know... More enemies. This is mind-numbingly procrastinated until you meet a "boss" who is a beefed-up regular enemy with maybe a change of Kagune animation at best.

Should you buy it? Well, it depends. If you are here to get an in-depth story experience without any idea of the story, my suggestion is to go else ware and read/watch the series.

If you are a die-hard fan wanting any scrap of Tokyo ghoul content, Wait until it is on sale! Selling a £40 product for a half-assed game is downright absurd. Some sales go low as 80& off which is a reasonable price for the quality of the game.
