I absolutely hate "underwater sections" in videogames, but Subnautica is great. Basic crafting and survival tropes, but the underwater setting sets it apart. Exploring the ocean depths is terrifying and beautiful. Runs great on my aging Intel i3 with 1050Ti and 8GB of RAM. Occasional controller issues (Xbox One) but this is fixed by ensuring the game settings are set to "Controller: Xbox One" and restarting the game.

Will probably buy the expansion at some point.
