As much art as it is game. The gameplay itself is so simple, like the Jeff level from HL:Alyx. Not a bad formula. But it's so simple, the design and story do some really heavy lifting to keep it engaging throughout.

Suze was a ♥♥♥♥ though.

It's Half-Life 2, but with HL: Alyx graphics! Better even in some ways. It runs great on my 4090, and frame generation isn't a major hindrance in a single player game like this. The only weird thing is jump feels a lot weaker than it was originally. It's not, it just FEELS that way.

Anyway, this is clearly a labor of love, and I appreciate all the hard work and respect that went into it. It's a huge breath of fresh air into HL2, almost like playing it for the first time again. I can't wait to play the full version.
