This game is BAD. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I have no idea why people liked it when it first came out. Was it because it was a Wii game? Because damn it sucks.

The open-world is terrible. The driving sucks, the environments where you fight are boring. It is a funny game, and the combat system is not horrible. Still, this is not a fun game at all.

With a bit more interaction, this could have been an amazing game. But, unfortunately it is just hollow.

I would like to start by saying "F*** YOU!" to anyone who thinks this game is not good. I get that hating on something popular is cool, but, stop.

I have never seen an RPG that was given so much care on story-telling, it hurts that I finished the game. BUGS? Yes it has some bugs, but it is getting much better quickly. The latest version I played on (1.04 and 1.05) was really not that bad. I encountered only 1 game-breaking bug, and that's all.

This is a game that needs to be experienced and a story that needs to be listened to.

They animated and voiced every side quest in a 100 hour RPG! How is this not amazing? Sure they f***ed it up in PS4 and Xbox versions, but on PC, nobody should miss it.

Full of content and soul that single player Final Fantasy games were missing since 12. The game is full of character and I love the direction they took. Instead of going the romance way which was originally planned, they went to make a brotherhood story which is refreshing to see in a Final Fantasy game. Sure, the story is full of holes, but with DLCs it is way more complete than people suggest it to be.

Although it is fun, the fighting system could have been improved. They added pause system which helps to make it slightly more strategic, still, it is not that challenging. The minigames are actually really enjoyable, and the DLCs have many unique elements in their gameplay.

More importantly, the food does look amazing. My favourite game in the series.

What is this?! The game only took me 20 minutes to get bored of it. You cannot even win. No scoreboard, no competition, no fun. What is this game?!

AFTER 4 YEARS I FINALLY BEAT THIS GAME! YES! I bought it on the holiday sale in 2014 for the ridiculous price. Now that I think of it, I could've easily given it full price. When I bought it, I knew nothing about the game, but after playing it for 2-3 hours, I knew I would love this. On my first play, I messed up too many times and I didn't even know how to fully utilize the combat system, so in my first attempt, I dropped the game without finishing it. However, this does not mean that the game is bad. It was the fact that I tried to play it without thinking much. My second attempt was 2 years later, and I played it to the final boss, and then got smashed by it. And another 2 years after that I started playing again from that save and got most of the items and skills needed. This time it was my turn to smash that boss. AND I FINALLY DID IT!

The game is one of my favourite Metroidvanias and it definitely has the most amount of content. The fighting system is great, RPG elements are amazing and detailed, the art is beautiful. This game has all of them. Sure, it's a little hard, but that makes the RPG elements shine more. The bosses are amazing (maybe except the final boss), and the game has an arena mode where you play against them. And that mode is also not a fluke, it has its own mechanics.

This is one of the best games I've ever played. If you like metroidvanias you wouldn't want to miss it.

This game is GREAT. That's it. You don't need to compare it to Unepic. This game is not a sequel to Unepic. They are so much distinct from each other. However, the game is amazing. It has metroidvania elements, but mostly an action platformer. Since it is an ACTION platformer, so you will be required to do some fighting. Controls are feels tight and responsive and the combat, although sometimes feels like a bullet hell, is pretty good. Some notes that needs to be taken for the game may be:

The story feels a little rushed towards the end, but still the jokes and the narrative saves it. Also, the vocalization is pretty good.

Some players mentioned frequent crashes, but to my surprise, I did not encounter a single crash. It ran smoothly for me.

For some, soundtrack can feel repetitive, but it didn't bother me.

All in all, it is an amazing game, if you don't expect an Unepic. It is different, and for me, it is much much better.

Finally I could find another good Metroidvania to play! (I mean, they are hard to find aren't they?)

I think it is one of the most enjoyable games on steam. It has a great sense of humour. Dialogs between characters can make you laugh almost everytime. Also, the story is pretty enjoyable and funny as well.

But, this game has its own problems too. First, the artwork looks awful. Maybe it is an artistic choice but I don't know, it looks bad. (Animations are pretty good though.) Second, although the bosses are pretty fun to fight, I think there should be more of them. The map is really big but there are only 6 bosses. But the biggest problem is, I cannot rebind the keys while playing the game! It only allows you in the beginning of a new game. I don't know what made the Morgopolis Studios make it that way.

However, don't you even think the game is bad. It is not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination. It offers one hell out of fun. And for this pricetag it's worth it.

Unlike most of the people, I did not kickstarted this game. It did not look much more interesting to me. But, after reading a lot of reviews, I thought I should try that game, and I did not even wait for a sale, even though I am a cheap-ass gamer.

I played it for 10+ hours and all I am going to say is that this game is a masterpiece. Maybe it does not have much replayability (even though I do not think that is the case), but everyone should listen to its story, experience the greatest journey of this times. The graphics, story, music, everything is amazing.
