Early Access Review
If you are a fan of tycoon games, this is definitely for you. You can run a nightclub, fast food joint, gift shop, or almost any store you want to. There’s no option to build entire new buildings or deal with multiple floors but besides that the interior design options are great and have potential. If mods/updates keep coming it seems almost limitless what you could do. Honestly in some ways the game is very comparable to sims, with much more of a focus on the tycoon/business aspect than the character creation/personality/auto-simulation(npcs)

Also the recreation of New York City is really cool and well done.

In its current state it’s pretty fun but the gameplay loop can be a bit repetitive. After finding your footing the only way to really continue making money and getting bigger businesses is to sleep through every day, do activities to stay happy, and then check some charts and shift some numbers/employees around. You can get a solid 20 hours of fun I’d say as is. After that I’d hope for updates(cosmetics/character design, more furniture) to have more fun customizing your stores etc, which is really the fun of the endgame imo

played twenty hours and still feel like ive barely scratched the surface. So much to explore, the perfect translation of real life D&D into a video game. Played Divinity II a couple years back but didn't get hooked, this feels like it fixed everything wrong and went beyond. Characters are deep and you quickly find yourself either falling in love with or hating them. Plenty of areas to explore, story to learn, and loot to gain. The options they give you for how to survive situations feel as limitless as your imagination, which is why I say it is the perfect translation of D&D to video game. Play this game, it's worth it. I have a feeling I will be doing multiple playthroughs to play different styles and discover everything the game has to offer.

EDIT: I've played 190 more hours and still haven't actually "finished" the game. Every patch and update has improved the game in some way, whether removing bugs or adding entirely new story elements. You can still bug/sequence break the game in some instances but the game is so vast and complicated its easy to forget when it happens. I think I might be ready to call this the best single player I've ever played/witnessed.

Edit: Now that Palworld is out, there isn't really any reason to spend money on this game. If ur interested get palworld instead its essentially the more polished version :)

As someone who has played a decent bit of this game, it is incredible to see the growth and changes made for the seamless world update. The development team is clearly passionate about the game and intend to create a complete experience. The consistent updates and roadmaps keep me positive in believing in this title as an early access. I’ve been burned by a lot of early access titles, and believe that way too many games are going down that route, however this is a game that fully exemplifies the benefits of early access, with a trustworthy team that cares about the community.

A combination of Elden Ring, BOTW, Minecraft, Ark:Survival Evolved, Pokémon, and pretty much any open world RPG - this game, even in its embryonic state, has a vast wealth of content. While janky at times and a bit rough around the edges, it is charming and very much worth playing.

Game was fun while it lasted although it had its issues. Do not buy this game, they no longer support it and are “rebuilding” the game again on a new engine, which surprise you have to buy the game again as well. To be honest I feel cheated and scammed, paid for a product in early access and I got plenty of hours of entertainment I do not deny that but they are literally making the same exact game, stopping servers on the current game, and making you pay another 45 to keep playing. Scam, terrible company, and I bet they charge again for the DLC as well.
