Great game I got this when it first came out and ive played all the dlc since as well.

No bugs or any issues seen while playing.

Great to put your own music on with

Honestly Id rather play this than actually do this in real life!

Some great DLC based on warhammer and tomb raider and even back to the future!

I like this sort of game I feel like I am making up for all the damage and chaos I cause in other video games xD

This is a cool little game where you go around the UK, France and Germany and do clean up and repairs to damaged parts of cities and military areas you do only work in smallish areas tho not entire cities.

You have multiple tools to clean up like metal cutters, hammers shovels etc

Vehicles to use like cranes and cars.

You can press control to see areas that need work or are affected by something.

Everything can be upgraded by skill points which you collect by completing tasks throughout the game.

There are also collectables on every level.

Each level tells you a bit of history of the area like in Dunkirk where over three hundred thousand soldiers were evacuated home to the UK.

There is a sandbox level to play as well (in Poland) you collect the usable items there by completing other levels.

The graphics are simple and nice the music is relaxing.

There are some bugs I crashed once and I had to restart a level as a tanker I was cutting down got stuck, besides that I never really had any problems with the game and the game saves itself often anyway so I never lost much progress.

The achievements are easy to collect as you play along one or two might need a restart of a level but that’s fine.

A lot of people liken this game to others like House flipper and yes I agree but not as intense.

I would say that this game is short and could use more content I have heard that the game is going to get some DLC's in the future which would be nice depending on the price of them.

I would recommend this game as a nice relaxing pass time to play for people interested in this type of game.

But maybe get on sale as it is a bit expensive for the current release.

UPDATE! 12/10/23
New level DLC release and its free very worth it adds more time to game.

Originally had this game on Origin was so happy to see it on Steam recently that I had to get it for the achievements.

This is a single player third person action-adventure game, you play Cal Kestis a Jedi padawan survivor of order 66 the game begins during order 66 and then follows on to when he is older and begins his force journey or looking for items and allies and fighting the Empire.

After getting past the initial game and joining a crew and ship you can begin going around a small number of planets to complete tasks and missions and also looking for collectibles and story information.

The main story line is very good and the encounters are great especially at the end I was at the edge of my seat towards the end both from the story and from trying not to die.

Even after finishing the main game you can still go to all the planets to look for collectibles and achievement hunting which I was grateful for.

The story and progress is staggered making you fly around a bit to collect certain skills which will open new areas to you.

There is an additional part of the game you can access while "Meditating" which is a sort of checkpoint area you can access at certain areas of the maps.

There is a little battle area where you can pick enemies to fight with and a challenge area where there are set fights to complete.

The game looks amazing honestly I have taken a number of screenshots and a few I am considering for backgrounds on my desktop, the fights and areas are great but some of the cinematics are just fantastic for a Star Wars fan.

Great music.

Never encountered a bug I believe there was one area on Zeffo that I could never enter (which had no affect on achievements or competition of the game) I sort of believe the area might have been a trick to draw attention away from the actual area of interest.

Controls I was not a huge fan of but there is control mapping which you can use if needed.

Game has Steam cards and achievements for those that are interested and achievements can be done easily with a bit of back and forth around the worlds.

I would highly recommend this game.

Going to preorder sequel in a second.

The Ultimate Doom.

This game originally came out in 1993.

Even tho it is dated now it has been enhanced and re-released it is very playable with no issues that I encountered at least.

This is the game that started the legendary franchise back in the day playing Doom and Quake was the big thing of the time!

The music and the graphics (enhanced but not upgraded) will take you back on a trip if you have a history with the game but can still be fun for someone who likes the classics or even the franchise.

I did not try the multiplayer so can't comment on that but they have added a mod section to the game so you can expand the base game and increase the gameplay available.

The base game tho is still enjoyable later levels can turn into mazes so it is easy to get turned around and frustrated using the map is key.

This seems to be the original game to have all the different and funny difficulty levels each one increasing the hardness quite a bit.

A few weapons to collect and play with and keys to find in game to advanced to new areas and complete the levels.

Such great weapons like the BFG and plasma rifle.

Items are scattered everywhere everything from ammo to invulnerability to area maps to radiation protection.

Many different monsters as well to kill and dodge.

Four main episodes to play but all included in the game now.

No achievements/cards or collectable for this game.

Highly recommend the game for fans of the franchise or someone who enjoys the classics (If interested in all of them maybe get in a bundle to save money).

Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7

My second Lego game after completing the first Harry Potter Lego game and while I feel maybe not as good as the first game it was still enjoyable.

Again I believe these games are port over’s from consoles and the controls are odd what was annoying this time is that they changed the controls that I had gotten used to in the first game.

Every time you close the game any setting changes you make to controls or abilities get reset.

Again the set up is good the main place you start is Leaky Cauldron and Diagon Alley and this time with access to London/Kings Cross Station and even the Tent from the last two movies.

The four main parts of the game are split like the last game and again have six chapters each and each has certain collectables needed to 100% the game.

Once you have completed a chapter it is possible to go back and free play it if interested in hundred percent the game.

So when playing the game you move around the completing the Harry Potter story by using spells you learn as you play to destroy things levitate or combine into other stuff.

You learn these spells by exploring Hogwarts and taking classes.

In this game duelling has been expanded on and is featured more often.

Same collectables like the last game -

Studs this is the main currency.

Gold bricks 200 is the target but I found 201 which was not added to the score.

Red bricks these activate your abilities like strength or detectors for finding other collectables.

Character tokens which are spread throughout the game.

House crests each chapter has Four to collect.

Diagon Alley has shops where you can purchase more spells or characters (After you find the tokens).

And Knockturn Alley has returned with the bonus level too.

No Gringotts this time.

Not really any glitches just NPC's getting lost or having to restart a level because of a bug.

Music was from Harry Potter and I like it so that was good.

I found this game easier than the first and only required two play throughs once I had the needed characters to 100%

As it is Lego I suppose it is intended for a younger audience the cut scenes and game is more comedy than the books/movies.

Again no achievements which is annoying.

I do recommend this game but would say play the first game first Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 these games are quite fun for people who like to hunt for collectables too.

Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4

I tried a Lego game years ago but encountered a glitch I couldn’t seem to pass and never got back to it but some friends say they are good so I started again with this one.

I’ve not looked into it but I feel like this is a port over from a console but even though I encountered some glitches and annoying bits in the game I did manage to 100% the game and enjoy it.

I really like how they went about setting up the game so the way it works is -

The game is based on the first four years of the books/movies and each year is split up by six chapters.

In the game you enter an area and there are a number of items that you need to combine or destroy or move about using certain spells you will find that you will need to replay after activating more spells later on to complete more of the chapter.

Between these chapters you move around Hogwarts taking classes to learn a few spells and unlocking new areas.

When you exit you end up in the Leaky Cauldron this is also where you start you can choose to carry on your game or go back to a past chapter if you have completed each chapter you can go back to finish collectables or even go back to Hogwarts to 100% there as well.

While playing there are a number of collectibles.

Studs this is the main currency.

Gold bricks 200 to collect and are needed to open bonus levels in the bank and also the final bonus level which needs all 200.

Red bricks these give you special abilities (which you can turn on and off) like detectors to find other collectibles or invincibility etc

Character tokens around 167 characters to collect and you will need certain character to make progress later on in the game or while hunting for collectibles like a dark character or even just characters of each house so you can access certain areas only a Slytherin could enter or one of the other houses.

House crests each area has one of each house crest which combines together.

Like I said before the main area you start from is the leaky Cauldron from there you can access past chapters or in the basement there is four areas waiting to be built but require you to complete each of the years chapters 100% first.

You can move into Diagon Alley where the shops are where you can buy the characters you found or the abilities you located new spells or visit Gringotts.

Gringotts has the bonus levels in the vaults you will need a certain amount of gold bricks to enter a vault there are 10 in total and a few of them even let you play at building levels (I won’t comment here as I never tried this).

There is also Knockturn alley where the endgame is after getting 200 gold bricks you can access the final bonus level.

There really is quite a lot to do in this game it was fun to play.

Like I mentioned there are a few problems the other NPCs can get in the way if you are using the locators for collectables sometimes they are not accurate and you are searching one room only for it to be in the room next to you or below you.

I had trouble getting the Cho Chang character token because it was inside an open draw I had to levitate it out but couldn’t see it took me a while before I did notice it.

Handy tip look for the coloured sparks they will allow you to know what type of spell to use on an item.

Music is nostalgic.

As it is Lego and I suppose intended for younger audience the cut scenes and game is more comedy than the books/movies.

What really annoys me is that they never did an update for Steam achievements that would have made me so happy and I hope one day they actually do add them.

I do recommend this game especially for 100% hunters it is a good little game I am about to start the next one :)

The Room 4 Old Sins

I really love this series of games I have played all Three before this released and it is always great to see a new one.

Once again they have added a plot to this game to although by the end I just had more questions I think I will have to look online to see if there is more to the story.

So once again you are searching for something or at least trying to get somewhere and you are working your way around a doll house (dimensions, portals and shrinking don't ask just play) each room has new puzzles and objects to collect and move around.

As in the other games there are some special glasses used to see hidden markings and areas to access.

The goal is to find a special item that each room has until all the seals have been broken to get to the endgame.

Not the longest game in the world unless you struggle but I found as long as you spend time on each area studying you should be fine.

The sounds are great but they once again add this really creepy edge to the game at a couple of points I am busy working on something in the game and the sounds make it like something is moving around rooms are moving and gears the music gets louder and it forces me out of what I am doing just so see if I am about to be murdered in the game.

There is a hint option if needed I never used it myself though.

Game looks amazing as always love the affects and design and remember these games are originally intended for phones and tablets.

No bugs or glitches I found during my game play.

Achievements are earned while playing and can be done during one game play so very easy.

Trading cards included when playing.

I would highly recommend this game after playing the first three games because why wouldn’t you.

There is another Room game The Room VR: A Dark Matter which I have but not had a chance to play yet.

Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty

This is an expansion to the existing game Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines a Great game by Edios Interactive that came out in the 90s you really should play that game before starting this one.

This game as a expansion only has 8 missions some of the missions are a bit harder than the original game.

Not too much has changed this seemed to have done a minor graphic update and put some good music in the game.

There are some new features such as handcuffs and ether to knock enemy units out and also a stone or cigarettes to distract guards.

A new controllable character has been added onto the last mission.

What was really cool was the ability to take a solider hostage (Puppeteer) and force them move around as long you have them insights of your gun although they can escape, but I did not really find much use for this.

Like the original game you control a number of different characters with different abilities and specialities around a map completing objectives.

At the end of each mission you get ranked and receive a password to the next level.

There isn’t really much else to say as it is just a expansion of an existing game.

I highly recommend this game although play Behind Enemy Lines first.

Commandos Behind Enemy Lines

This was one of my all time liked and most played games when I was a kid on the PC I spent hours playing this and replayed it a bunch as well I really looked after the disks and as soon as I saw it on Steam I jumped at it.

It is a war strategy game made by Edios in the 90's there are 20 missions to complete.

Back in the day on the British version of this game to access the 20th mission you would need to have reached a certain rank/merit in the game I don't know if that is still the same as I believe I did reach the level needed while playing anyway.

Mission objectives change per map,

Sabotage, Destroy buildings, weapons and bridges
Rescue, there are a couple of different characters that need saving.
Assassinate, take out high profile targets.

Each time you complete a level you get to look at the stats of the map and the game will grade you your time and damage to the enemy etc this is then put towards merits and this is how you get promoted.

Also you receive a password which will allow you to get to the next level (handy if you lose saves or replay in future but these days you can just Google passwords).

You control different characters on each map which will have a different combination of the characters depending on the mission type.

You can control one or more of the characters lead them around the map and use their tools and skills to complete tasks like killing, placing bombs using vehicles or activating items.

It is close to top down view the graphics are a bit old but work great and to be honest I love games that look like this.

There is a number of different characters to play in this game

The Green Beret
The Sapper
The Sniper
The Spy
The Marine
The Driver
The Pilot
Prisoners (mostly just move around maps no items).

Also you can imagine each character can do a task or carry certain items unique to their own skills.

The diver can dive and carry a dingy around, the sapper is the only one with explosives and also has a bloody useful bear trap (love this thing killed so many people with this :) I won't list everything they carry part of the fun is figuring out how to use each item in different scenario.

I have truly loved this game and have really enjoyed replaying it now, I tend to try and destroy and kill everything on each map so not so good at the sneaky sneaky I have done some stealth plays with does make it more difficult.

Music is good although I do tend to put my own on instead.

I wouldn’t say the game has any glitches but it is old and sometimes the enemies get stuck on a car or a turning when trying to run to a gunshot etc

I have seen that they have done a remastered version of this game but have seen that it has many bad reviews last time I checked and most saying unplayable so I have avoided that for now.

So yes I highly recommend if this is you game type or you like the older games.

Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Persian Carpet

I have all the Sherlock Holmes games from this collection I got them all in a bundles and have been happy to say for the most part I have been enjoying these games with a couple of exceptions.

Sadly this game is one of the exceptions it is not good at all.

It is mainly a hidden objects game with a few puzzles included some hard most easy and a lot of confusing and hard to find stuff.

The graphics look okay but it is all just images nothing moves at all and very small click areas and some of the hidden objects were just terrible to find not easy at all and not in a good way.

The sound again not great this is no dialogue it’s all subtitle and repeated background music which I feel is just taken from there other games and just looped on this.

I encountered no bugs and the game saved fine.

Not really a plot just there has been a murder and you go to a number of different locations repeatedly to find more clues which you take to you lab to cut or add water to which Sherlock will then take to his personal collection.....

After which you then have a deduction board which is mainly just matching different bits of clues to different suspects and places.

The game came out in 2008 I believe and I don't believe this is Frogswares oldest Sherlock game but they dropped the ball here.

No achievements to worry about in this game.

I have to say I won't recommend this game I do honestly recommend the Sherlock Holmes bundle when they are on sale during events which would mean this game is added to that.
