I think I get dungeon crawlers now

Really really good platformer. Flavors of Getting Over It and Umihara Kawase. Lots of secrets and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jumping puzzles. The dev knocked it out of the ball park. instant favorite.

Every gun kicks and the headshots are pleasant. I like the TNT system. Good spread of levels.

Can't wait for chapter 2.

but there are some frustrations. There is almost no delay between the enemy seeing you and them shooting you. You can't see through the clouds of particle affects, but the enemy can. Levels are (or were) very difficult to navigate (I don't know if the new update fixed this. I beat the game a day before it came out). The only form of damage mitigation is a kind-of janky slide mechanic. The players weapons feel a little underpowered (sniper rifle sometimes takes multiple headshots to kill)

The game demands a singular playstyle, where you bob and weave around elaborate offices and burger joints, trying to catch enemies alone, popping shots from behind cover, sliding in and going into melee. My second playthrough has been more fun than the first.

I'm surprised this isn't more popular

It's pretty good when the dialogue tags don't ♥♥♥♥ up and spoil the plot for me.

That was a very good game I just played.
